  1. The two newest threads feature the word 'structure' in the title, so early signs are that it will be a typical RL off-season.
  2. Probably waving their fists at the telly demanding more six-agains.
  3. I'm sure the hosts of the 2031 union world cup would have snapped your hand off for a 58-6 when they came up against Scotland last week. 58-6 is a big win, it is no disgrace in an international where there are often mismatches in quality.
  4. Well they should, because it involves travelling to the other side of the world when they can do a similar job at home.
  5. Good to see Sourh Africa didnt get hammered. Congratulations to the Cook Islands for qualifying.
  6. Yes and the big Samoa forwards kept running at him time after time, and most of the time he managed to get in the way and at least slow them down. A very important performance.
  7. Genuine question - who decides if Wane stays on? Is it Abi Ekoku? I literally have no idea whose decision/responsibility it is.
  8. I'm surprised we didn't find out by Australia kicking one. I certainly found out about the bonus Captain's Challenges for the first time yesterday.
  9. Someone who watches the NRL more regularly will need to keep me honest, but they havent got rid of the drop goal down there have they?
  10. Luai headbutted the NZ player.
  11. You sure? I think Atkins would have called 'held' yesterday before the ball even started going down.
  12. If a no-name big forward gets someone in a headlock and then slams them into the ground using their neck as a lever, pretty sure you'd see more action. Six-again rule is dreadful. You'd be mad not to just keep committing 'ruck infringements' until the sting goes out of the attack.
  13. I've got a strategic review that should put your mind at rest.
  14. All great players, but I don't remember any of them being more dominant against the Australians than McMeeken was for most of today's game. They certainly all finished with losing records against the Kangaroos. We didnt lose the game today in the forwards, even if we desperately need some attacking quality to come through in the second row.
  15. Our poor halfbacks were racking their brains trying to remember if there was anything from the presentation on the Dardanelles Campaign that could help them break down the Aussie defence.
  16. Cumbria Super League team
  17. Yep and that's totally wrong. There's no quick fix of course. The profits from this series should be going straight into the long-term, non-sexy things that strengthen our player base for the future. Coaching courses, community club facilities, development programmes.
  18. Which are those 4? Tonga are W1 L8 from their last nine games.
  19. It doesn't sit right to say 'Walsh and Nawaqanitawase make errors' as if they are similar types of error. Walsh is making errors attempting and sometimes achieving the brilliant; Nawaqanitawase is making errors when fielding a standard kick or when returning the ball under no pressure.
  20. I agree with you on many things but not on this. Tackling people into touch has been a free for all for years, you can do whatever the hell you like if you keep the ball up.
  21. Someone will come up with a deranged counterfactual in which Manchester Rangers would have been averaging 25k by now if they had been let into League One that time.
  22. I think we all agree that peak Welsby would be an important addition to this team. But you got flamed for denying that he has been bang average all season, and I'm not convinced his speed of feet and thought haven't gone for good.
  23. I havent yet opined on my favourite pitch markings so you've got that to look forward to.
  24. Yes he said it had been called onside by the onfield ref so he wasnt going to rule on it.
