  1. Actually you are only allowed to own one club, as Lenaghan found out.

And lets just say that a millionaire wanted only Batley (or Dewsbury). What then?

if you're the richest man in the world. you can pretty much do what you like, like buy the whole of the game of rl. if you're going to come up with this faux indignation at least let it have some semblance of sense, if not, just go back to the 'rectangular stadium' stuff.

  2. What if they did have it to spend though? Would/could the RFL ever let them up or would the likes of Bradford throw a spanner in the works? Even if Batley or Dewsbury had the richest man in the world behind them, the fact is they still couldn't be in SL until 2015 - And the ##### handwavers know that

if they had the richest man in the world backing them, he could buy all rl and have whatever teams he chooses.

  3. When I first heard about it I was well sceptical of Twitter I just didn't see the point. Now I love it, reading what celebrities and RL players get up to, even getting the odd reply.

The best RL related one came last night from....Robbie Savage!

"I'm just a thin earl crabtree,, thin earl crabtree"

savage is quite good value. he gets into various rows with other sportsmen, that he usually loses. plus he's not that bad on 6-0-6.

  4. Good luck to him. Feel a bit sorry for how it worked out for him at Warrington, but over the past few years he has given us some briliant highlights and scored some breathtaking tries.

This is an entertainment business, and he was certainly entertaining. I thought he showed at Quins that he was too good for U21's and he deserved a run in SL, so I really hope he does well.

yep. the improvement smith got out of others made me wonder if he could get the same out of kevin.

taking ashton on the outside against wigan, the ridiculous ones against sts and a sprint from a briers kick against salford.

  5. In fairness, in the tight games lost the deciding factor has been goal kicks on a couple of occasions. Hodgson will address that, hopefully.

ah yes, hodgson! still not convinced. riley has said several times that he prefers fb so there maybe a bit of job sharing there as smith has said he doesn't expect hodgson to play every week.

which brings me to mathers, i don't think he's been hard done by as that's the nature of sport, but he won us a cup final and hopefully the fans will remember that.

oh, and solomona. ridiculously gifted which more than makes up for his, how shall we say, relaxed approach to defence!
