Deleted because I decided against sharing this info.

Growing up I was always told that in order to be a city you needed to have a cathedral. Fortunately Blackburn never did get that status lol

Anyone but Saints. Simple as that.

Salford are doing a lot better than I thought they would before the season started and I think this one 'could' be a lot closer than some people are expecting it to be.
Hoping for a Wigan win but it's 50/50 for me at the moment.

Only done one so far this year which was Evil Blizzard at the Kanteena in Lancaster.
As of last week yy employment is now guaranteed until the end of the year so I will now be keeping an eye out on who is touring.

I watch all my RL these days on the TV so the biggest positive for me personally is that I'll be able to watch all the Wigan games this season.
The overlapping of games isn't much of an issue for me because otherwise I'd probably end up watching most of them and sometimes you can have too much of a good thing.
The Sky coverage in terms of commentary and pundits is a big improvement as far as I'm concerned.

Potentially a real humdinger of a game this one.
Can see this one getting tasty with KR taking out a narrow home win.

Like others I had doubts when Peet was given the job but my word has he wiped those doubts out. IMO he's been an absolute revelation.
Not only in the way he carries himself but also in the way he's made it not about him but about those around him, from the coaches, the staff, the players and the club.
I wouldn't swap him for any other coach.

Home win. Come on Wigan!

I watched the Wire v Hull game and whilst I do agree that the red card was clearly an incredibly divisive (and IMO wrong) decision it could also be an important early learning point for the game as a whole particularly in how accidental head clashes are/should be dealt with within the new landscape the game now finds itself in.
In fact many of the calls/non calls from that game certainly needed to be reviewed by those responsible for how the game is governed.
Important to remember though that we are only at week 2 and there were always gonna be contentious talking points whilst all involved get their heads around it all.

Hard to see anything other than a home win here. Probably a convincing one at that.

Home win I reckon.

Bedlam Fayre by Arena is currently stuck in my head.

Unfortunatley with them trialing the main new rules at amateur level first, the top league may adjust to the new interpretations this season but then we will see the same again next season as the new lower tackle height rules are brought in to the pro game. Strange them bringing it in staggered like they have done.
Only thing they can do is adjust this season with next season also in mind?

Hate to say it on the main forum but...
RU are a season ahead in terms of 'new' interpretations/rules regards 'player safety' and last season they struggled to deal with it. This season they're dealing with it better.
I expect RL to have a similar path in that respect.

Gotta be honest... This is the most positive I've felt about a new season for a long time.
Admittedly I'm a 'glass half full' kinda guy but this season I'm getting even more positive vibes than I have in recent years.
There's plenty to be positive about.
There will always be things to lean towards negatively if you choose to walk that road.... But remember folks... PMA for the win.

Fantastic fixture to kick off the new season. I'm finding this one to be close to call to be honest and a lot will depend on how quickly the new players in both teams settle into their respective new processes.
Leaning slightly towards KR but gotta think that FC need to win this one to lay a marker down.

Every now and then I read/see some news that actually inspires me rather than depresses me and this is definitely in the former category.
Thanks for posting this.
What a life he lived and by the sounds of it he helped and inspired many other lives.

Sounds like a weird Bioshock 'Splicer' inspired idea.

Must admit I enjoy the growing number of ladies involved in televised sport. I mostly just watch the rugby codes (occasional NFL game) and both have some great female presenters/pundits/commentators that I personally find more listenable than 'some' of the blokes alongside them or that they replaced.

There's an extra cost to getting an app on the Amazon marketplace, as opposed to Google and Apple. Some creators just don't bother - WatchNRL for instance. That's been going for years and they still have no Fire app.
Hopefully one will turn up but I won't hold my breath. I saw your post earlier in the thread regarding how you access it so I could always do that if need be.
Cheers for the info.

I'll more than likely sign up for the 12 months although I would much prefer to have a dedicated superleague+ app on my fire stick before I do.
I have emailed an enquiry but as it stands they have no information about when it will be available on the fire stick.

Watched it last night. Really enjoyed it and I'm very much looking forward to the next episode.

As for me though.... I haven't been on to a game in quite some time. Playing Friday nights even when the game isn't live on TV was a killer for us and we simply got out of the habit of going.
I watch loads of games on TV though.
