Wakefield Trinity plans submision

Well one thing is for certain all those people who have berated the club over the years will now be able to visit sit in first class facilities with a great view of the game on a brand new pitch under new lights with a new big screen and if they have an EV charge it up in the car park. Hopefully we will see all the knockers in the stand once opened. -

No I believe the new stand will go from the current pitch side back to the vicinity of the house in the photo In addition the rest of the area will be the car park re-developed -
What a bloke and what a family, although through all this adversity just like a player he will not give in and perhaps through all this he maintains his dignity and wicked sense of humour that was a golden thread through his book. Hats off to you lad and those around you. Although a rival fan over the years I have to say that Kevin Sinfield really is a true leader with his support for Rob and his family, friendship like that is priceless.

So the latest is footings for the stand going in, the new big screen is going up, the barriers in both the west and north areas are being removed and replaced and the terracing on the North stand is about to be commenced. The pitch is down along with earlier this season the new floodlights and other improvements. The work as far as I know is in front and a local company has been appointed to carry out the brick work with the good weather things are moving at a pace and hopefully at this rate it will be completed on time or before. -

2 x 10 then done with the game need to pay teams twice a season plus chances in cup etc. Playing multiple teams three times is a joke and lottery its inconsistent and unattractive. -
Unprofessional and totally unprepared. Her attitude laughing throughout was a disgrace as well.

If you read the detail he was signed as head coach for 12 months at which point it would be reviewed, that review has taken place and an extension has not been agreed hardly a sacking. based on the full season and how we hit rock bottom after the Magic weekend its no surprise.

Ok just to put you right its a brand new all singing dancing stand, the North Stand will have the terracing upgraded where needed, the West terrace is not featured yet. the 400 temporary seats at the south end my become permanent, the Changing rooms as they are now will become more community based and the new stand will have conference facilities a fan zone etc etc along with 26000 spectator seats (not including media teams directors etc) AS new hybrid pitch going down anytime now as the turf has been removed, new floodlights that are already in place and a new permanent big screen total investment circa 12 million. Considering it cost 17.5 million for Leigh Sporting Village the current investment at BV with little help over the years from the LA is a big investment, accepting the LA has provided 2 million to each of the local clubs for investment.

Not sorry to see him go, he is a RL man through and through no doubt but for me showed no vision or clear strategy, accepting that a fragmented Governing body with SL was in existence.

Shame really Wakey were stuck in first gear had we got into second who knows, losing two key players didn't help either and the final penalty looking at the highlights to win the match is a real shocker by the referee. Overall no complaints had a good night shame the game was decided by the man in the middle. Chances at both end were not taken and missed conversions by Wakefield out wide proved costly.

Here is a link to those interested what a hybrid pitch is. https://www.sispitches.com/hybrid-grass-guide They are not cheap around 400K but last for around 8 to 10 years. the place will be totally changed by these improvements -

After going on Sunday reports are footings going in very soon so the steel should be up pretty quickly. Next thing will be the North Stand upgrade, hopefully that kicks in after the HKR game. The third piece then is the pitch will be re-laid after the season ends for a hybrid pitch. The place will be a different world next year. -

Latest on development of BV Wakefield
Forever Trinity replied to Forever Trinity's topic in The General Rugby League Forum
The work began on dismantling the East Stand yesterday the work is underway to remove the seating and then the roof as I understand it before the bulldozers move in. Good times off the pitch now. After a 7000 odd crowd on Sunday the club need to consolidate on the pitch and the future looks good.- 106 replies
