  1. Haven have loads of first teamers in apparentley
  2. A big thank-you to all concerned in organising the "do" last night, very professionally done may i add, the only gripe is that the only voices us at the back could hear was Martins and Ian Jeffersons, i wonder why that was ? Well done to all those who won there much deserved awards.
  3. To say how many games have been played on the pitch, plus the F-factor concert, i think the pitch looks brilliant and puts many super-league pitches to shame,Rob should be immensley proud of his efforts and contribution to Featherstone Rovers.
  4. Give the guy a chance, he practically run the full length of the field prior to this.
  5. Just been informed that theres a good write up about us in the Guardian newspaper today
  6. I noticed him in second half when it looked like he was going to blow the whistle for a forward pass by Barrow, then appeared to change his mind allowing them to score under sticks. But otherwise no grumbles.
  7. I heard last night that Halifax have requested over a thousand tickets for the game, although the game is not all ticket, this should help ease congestion at the turnstyles instead of having the extra burden of messing about with money.
  8. A lot of the folk there had travelled with the finalists of the competition, whilst others were young girls who had come to scream at Lloyd Daniels, or just come for a good day out (which it was), the rest were Fev fans, and like i sais before, i dont think there were any potential fans going to be there. Darryl Powell had given the players time off, so naturally they wanted to spend it with their respective families, the ones that did turn up were, Stu Dickins, Iain Morrison and Liam Welham, so a big thank you to them. They even had Rob the groundsman up on stage along side Darryl and Peter Fox.
  9. Peter Fox presented the players with the shield
  10. Been and had a chat with Mark and weve both put our point of view across
  11. Just wondered how Rhinos fans would react if a trophy of theirs was presented to team at Leeds Fest and what impact would that have for instance.?
  12. I'd rather keep taking the tablets!
  13. Im going to the F-Factor, at first i was going as a spectator, but now as a volunteer on the day as jobs need to be done, but im not really happy about the presentation of the shield been done there, and to be honest im not convinced it will bring in anymore fans to watch Rovers next season, but thats just my opinion, which ever way you look at it someone is not going to be happy whatever you do!
  14. Sincere condolences to Paul and his family
  15. Bravo Steph Overton, I could not have put this better myself, both myself and Terry agree with you
  16. Good atmosphere all round yesterday, and yes the Stewards were brilliant.
  17. What a atmosphere after the game, it was absolutely brilliant it made up for last week. The atmosphere at the clubhouse when the lads returned was brilliant too and it was a good night and im paying the penalty for that this morning. I do agree about Ben Kaye he appears to love it at the Rovers, you could see that by the expressions on his face after the game. Thank-you Featherstone Rovers for this season, you are my Champions!
  18. I do believe that there is a special turnstyle for us females.
  19. Mark, it says in the post Saturday 31st July
  20. A splendid team effort, fine try's by Zak, everyone of them was my man of the match
  21. I put a complaint to one of the Whitehaven directors and a policeman during the first half of the game, on how the so said security man/steward had behaved in the clubhouse, he had grabbed hold of Terry after Terry had complained to him about spilling his beer over him when getting hold of Danny, he lunged at Terry, i jumped in between them, and the guy proceeded to drag Danny out of the bar, in the process he knocked my eleven year old grandaughter flying. My left arm was caught under Danny's as they were dragging him out, but luckily for me i managed to free myself. I also stated about us not been able to bang the drum, but the guy was allowed to blow the hunting horn, the response i got was. Ive spoke to others and some of your fans were well lubricated. The guy with the horn attends every match with it, so i questioned their double standards, but they didnt want to know. The guy who runs the bar was brilliant as were the fans in the clubhouse, no problems there, so i would like to thank them for that. The security man in my opinion was just out to see who he could rub up the wrong way, he even had a go at me when we had all been singing in clubhouse before game, saying i dont mind people singing or banging the drum, but no swearing, and up to that point there had been no bad language, funnily enough i heard this same person effing and blinding to some of his colleagues outside during the game. Rant over.
  22. If the real Elvis was playing at POR i would want to know where he had been all these years, and why did he fake his own death.
  23. By not signing as many imports in the first place, simple as !
