Here at Knowsley Road as the U20's prepare for the VC clash the sky is black. It's going to be one hell of a downpour when it deposits it's wet load. -

Just on the train to Manchester and the precipitation is in overtime, so does anyone fancy giving me a lift back tonight? I don't fancy walking two miles in the rain to the train station afterwards, when it's more than likely to be siling it down. p.s I voted for a Bradford win -

Well it's Friday The Thirteenth and will it be a "Nightmare at Knowsley Road" this evening as the two most successful Rugby League sides clash in this round twenty five encounter. It's throwing it down here in Bradford and the forecast isn't looking good for the rest of the day in Merseyside. Does anyone know if the roof still leaks at Knowsley Road? -

Call me stubborn or cynical but from what I've seen of the top eight this season, only Featherstone and Halifax have looked capable of doing the business for mine, but you are right in one respect in that on there day the likes of Leigh, Barrow, Widnes and Sheffield can pull the shock result. Bill Arthur made a most valid point in that out of the last seven Grand Finals in both the Championship and Championship One, not one side finishing third or below has been in the showpiece event. If this is to change your looking at Barrow, Leigh etc needing to win at either Post Office Road or the Shay and from what I've seen, it'll be the home sides contesting the final.

Widnes Vikings 18-10 Sheffield Eagles after 62:00 minutes. Try: Taulapapa Goal: Brown 1/2 I know they've just scored but how much more dropped ball on the Widnes try line are Sheffield going to come up with? They've had all the pressure in this second half, but have seriously struggled to convert the chances. If they had, they would be out of sight by now.

I think it could be this. The NHL side the Florida Panthers "are trying out a bold, new season ticket-selection process called Perfect Plan. The system is ridiculously simple: Fans need only pick out an area within Bank Atlantic Centre and propose a per-game price for a specific seat. Then, within 24 hours, someone from the team will notify them to either accept their
