  1. So if Salford are on the same deal as previously, have no more long term contracted players to sell and may struggle to get another £300k from supporters, will they finish the season?
  2. As soon as YC paid up, it was only a matter of time. It never was a con trick.
  3. The ###### takes I get, its the prophetic posts that knew categorically that the new stand would never happen and it was all just a ploy that make me smile.
  4. Pretty decent sponor for the North Stand. ASUS retained as training kit sponsor. Two recognisable brands.
  5. Worth having a read of the initial pages of this thread, some posts haven't aged too well. Anyhow plans are being discussed for the terrace on the other side of the ground, hopefully we'll see what they are in the not too distant future.
  6. I don't want to see Salford fail. The last few years have been awful to watch Trinity, so I have found myself rooting for Salford in their push against the big boys, I love the way they play the game. Needless to say, they have been flying by the seat of theor pants financially which was always going to catch up with them. The latest play is another to get them over the next six months or so before all the upfront sky money is used up and some other avenue will have to be found, but they have pretty much exhausted most options now.
  7. So Salford get the deal they want (bar takings, car park etc) will they then pay full rent, and if so, doesn't the extra income get cancelled out, therefore leaving them in precisely the same perilous state they are now in?

  10. Looking at re recruitment, particularly at York, I think its going to be a very competitive division next year. Hopefully the off field grading criteria won't damped the spectacle.
  11. ....and were can't increase our average crowd beyond 7500 to gain that extra IMG point, and to drop below the 3000 average we would need to get crowds of 130 next year.
  12. Ultimately unless the club publish the breakdown, no one on here knows. Eitherway it's only actual attendees that count so this isn't a way of artifically supplementing match day attendees with non-attending season tickets 'sales' and counting them in official crowd number, ala Bradford last year.

  14. It's seems counter productive, but I guess the idea is to have strong clubs irrespective of on field success.
  15. Only way Leigh will be out is if they have a Wakefield 2023 esque season, under a P&R system they would've been relegated anyway.
  16. The upturn in interest has nothing to do with relegation, and everything to do with the new owner. After years of been told 'if you want a good team to support then you will have to pay for it' to 'I'll put in funding to create a good team that people want to watch' is an massive about turn. Also we have gone from a reluctancy to do the bare minimum in terms of promotion to really pushing to get the clubs name out there.
  17. Sounds promising. Would he nice to have another big city club on the scene challenging at the top.
  18. Well I thought the fee was based on future share of income, but they've done well to get £450k for effectively nothing so far.
  19. Plus there is a sliding scale if you want to pay more, I.e pay and extra £20 and a cap is thrown in, pay another £100 and you get to have breakfast with the players and watch a training session.
  20. Season tickets just released too. £100 adult tickets to stand on the Western Terrace, £250 to sit in the Neil Fox Stand, with 2 free junior tickets.
