  1. I went to the match, and I knew it was going to be a bad night when I found my wife had not packed me a Bulls shirt. The announcer appeared to have been trained by the railway announcers union. no wonder they can't get crowds. Bulls never started, and gradually got worse as the match went on. The ref appeared to have forgotten the rules, and to make up some of his own. This is not to take anything from the Quins who outplayed a bedraggelled Bulls team, who gradually got worse, and Iwould have thought that this was impossible as the game went on.. What there was of Bulls passing was attrocious, and I suppose there must have been a time they managed the full number of plays, but I ncan't remember one. Why is a back flick, which is supposed to fool the defence but can't be caught by the wingman and goes into touch constantly used by the Bulls. Sadly, it was all so bad I left early, I couldn't stand any more, this was a terrible performance by the Bulls, who were no match for the Quins, and I really hope the ref can start to perform better, he must spoil some good matches, when there are two teams actually performing, I couldn't believe that he appeared to have no knowledge of the 'knock on rules' danny Orr was in outstanding form, and I hope won Man of the Match.
  2. My thanks first for offering to meet me at Twickers to get to game, Fortunately my grandson who is acting in London is coming as guide, when a student he often played the mascot for the Quins. Hope it is a good game and would like to see Addey as a regular first teamer. I can't understand Mac's sub policy. Hottest day of year doesn't bother tp play sub. When side got a charge on he takes off players who led it. After Wigan four seasons ago should have learn't lesson.
  3. Many thanks for the responses, I was concerned at looking for the ground as I know few supporters attend. My wife is Welsh, and thinks we English have little sense of direction. Will be taking up Tommy the C5 aid as I am staying in Kings X. I usually moan about my working trips to London, but this time which is a first I have the opportunity of seeing the Bulls. Mind you going on this season's performances may not be much of a pleasure.
  4. Next week I shall be in London, and on the Friday I see the Quins are home to the Bulls. Despite being devastated by the Bulls recent results, it is still a golden opportunity to see them as I now live in Wales and they are my home town team. I looked at the Quins web site which shows to get off at Twickenham, but no clear way to get to the ground, or how far it is fromthe station. I have no wish to get lost particularly as I will have my wife with me. Any help would be appreciated.
  5. At the start of the season when a player was dragged into touch the opposing side were penalised. Two recent games the refs. have chosen to ignore this ruling. Last week we saw a Bulls player dragged into touch, and again this week Huddersfield did exactly the same, but the ref again chose to ignore it. I can forgive the rule being broken when a player is caught being tackled when off the ground, has it can be difficult to watch if the ball is being caught properly, while also looking to see if the players feet are on or off the ground. I really believe the refs who are guilty of ignoring the dragging rule should be chastised for it.
