The underachievement of both of these clubs is becoming pretty boring but more importantly is a big part of what is stopping SL from being the vibrant competition it could be. Both badly need to sort themselves out. Cue Leeds fans talking about a unlikely run to a GF they were never going to win last year as some form of justification.

Except it’s not sky sports 10 - I always forget it even exists as it’s not in the line up of “normal” sky sports channels when you flick through but randomly plonked somewhere else. No wonder nobody watches it.

I'd settle for well organised post-season internationals before worrying too much about mid-season rep games.

Saints getting a few player back now, look like naming a strong side this weekend. If we can limit absentees to Walmsley, Paasi, Wingfield I think we will finish 2nd and can make it 5. Big if though given our ban hungry back row.

If we get more games on FTA and ability to have a sort of PPV for non-televised game streams (with coverage funded by Sky including commentators, video refs etc) it might not be so bad actually. I'd certainly pay for a " season ticket" to watch non-televised games live if they were decent production values.

So they are paying less to broadcast 3x the games? Or when they say all broadcast live does it mean not all by Sky? Are we losing FTA / C4?

This is true, and we are coping fine thanks as respective league positions will attest. A couple back this weekend should leave us fairly well placed to shoot for another win.

Wellens is on Saints website saying Percy will play at the weekend so unless he's done something today I can't see the 12 weeks out being right. Sironen might play, too soon for Batch. Probably: Welsby, Tommy, Hoposate, Percival, Ritson, Lomax, Dodd, Lees, Roby, Delaney, Bell, Sironen, Knowles Bench: Mbye, Royle, Norman, Davies. To be fair, that's a remarkably strong side to put out given we have eight regular first teamers out in Hurrell, Walmsley, Paasi, Bennison, Wingfield, LMS, Batchelor and Matautia.

Hard to call before seeing squads. Big game for Saints in the quest to avoid Catalans away in the play-offs.

Holbrook would be a good fit for Wire - if he’s available they should do everything to get him. Would be a breath of fresh air following this miserable so and so.

Came on here after catching up with the game to see how people enjoyed an exciting game of RL. Turns out people just want to spend all their time whining about saints winning rather than commending a great effort. Suppose that’s where four on the bounce leaves you.
