Perhaps it would be better if the game wasn't played during the school holidays.

Don't the months fly by when you get older.

If we keep winning on it then leave it alone.

I have to agree Toal gave it everything today, as did the rest of the boys they showed real passion and desire to put right the problems of the previous games, I knew there was a better team than the results suggested. Thornley made a massive difference under the watchful eye of his coach, shame we had to take him off after the hour mark, let's hope the lads play with the same effort next week which will be without Thornley as it's the cup game.

Thanks fellas much appreciated.

Has anyone received this year's Season Ticket? If not, do you know when they will be available to be collected or delivered.

I believe it was a power cut affecting Hindpool and not just the ground. Town were putting up a really good show and it would have been nice to see the game out especially for the loyal travelling fans, I wish them the best of luck for the coming season as they start to gel I think they will do well.

Could it be the building of fortress Craven Park?

Wow, the next Poet Lauriat.

I'm a bit puzzled, what exactly do you mean?

Ryan Shaw played on the wing for Hull KR and scored some pretty good tries, he's a better winger than a centre. I think we need him for his goal kicking, he did top the goal kickers in SL and is certainly our best and most consistent kicker ensuring we won a number of games, had he not been absent when we played Leigh we would have certainly drawn that game at least, a game we should have won but let's not go back there.

I agree, I don't remember the lad letting us down in any game last season, I'm glad we kept him signed on.

Where could Barrow Raiders end up?
SJD replied to Jacko3233's topic in The General Rugby League Forum
Really? You might want to take a good look at the club's history. I remember as a teenager watching Barrow playing the touring New Zealand side and coming very close, Barrow were good enough for NZ to add to that tour as a side that could challenge them. Just one example, there are many, many more. Suggesting never is disrespectful.- 67 replies

Maybe everyone doesn't know why, remember the last person to make that suggestion publicly ended up forking out a sizeable sum of money, so what exactly are you getting at that you know and the rest of us don't.- 67 replies

I'll set 'em up, you knock 'em down.

You don't have to be on Facebook, just go to the Raider's Website and click on the F/book icon and you can read it there, it's very informative and honest.

Or still making them up.

What would be the 'grubbiest' CURRENT SL team?
SJD replied to Bedfordshire Bronco's topic in The General Rugby League Forum
Just pick any French player from Catalan, and some of the English and not forgetting the Aussies. Just add Morgan Knowles (who you have forgotten about) and bingo 1 - 17 -
Doesn't this just prove to young players the real benefit of coming to Barrow for a couple of years, great coaching and great fans, not to mention a beautiful little town on the edge of the Lakes. All in all, it's a win-win
