Why didn’t Lucas quite hit the promised heights in your opinion mate?
Too much too young maybe, lots of coach changes, bad influences, not given enough game time, one bad game and you're back as third/fourth choice. Not moving to a UK club when he had the chance as he didn't want to.
Cesar Rougé is going through the same thing now, as did morgue, the French players seem to come second to more experienced overseas halves, which is understandable in a title chasing team,
Lucas is finding is confidence again at carcassonne,

That kid must have had one hell of a paper round.
He had a full round during the week, Double round on a Sunday, the evening papers and the Warrington free paper on a Thursday I reckon,

Was faz not 16 when he debuted? Lucas Albert?

Look out for Clement Martin at Lézignan, 2005 played a couple of first team games already. Wing for the moment but will transform into a big centre/second row

I know at least 4 or 5 of these kids are keen on a season in England,
It's difficult to get a club but even more so a visa!

Did you do a video at the Lézignan v Carcassonne match?

It will be Carcassonne on their own, they will have to pay travel for the other teams, they probably would be mid championship already without recruiting any players,
They have said limoux and Lézignan can join them if they like to make a stronger team,
I can't see the rfl allowing this but you never know, it will definitely weaken elite 1 which is a lot closer this year,

There's more info on the TV about rugby league in Kenya this week than there ever is France!!!

Andrew pilkington the Wigan Spanish official does loads for promoting the game and runs refereeing courses, he's definitely a dedicated official, and probably one of the best officials coming through the system in Europe

Carcassonne were keen to enter this year,
Great memories of limoux v Wigan in France the ground was packed,

If you go to the photos on their website the no 2 is a very weird shaped winger if it's league,

The Avignon U19 team is the two teams together, so the rivalry has probably disappeared now.

One thing i would add Lezignan had a young team who seemed to be well coached.
Carcassonne a few there for the ride.
My Prediction Limoux v Albi final

Even the coaching staffs wives got in on the action, serving the food at the meal! How was the cassoulet, I take it the wine was good?

Try disallowed for Lézignan in the last second, from where I was it was a definite try!

The quality of his stream for games is better quality than na TV and via occitanie, there's talk of a rugby site showing a game per week (if the club pay filming costs) and the quality streams like his and Albi will be shown on this platform as well as YouTube as maybe natv is not as interested anymore.
The federation is definitely trying to get games out into the public eye but it's definitely not easy!

Normally the 16th December at Lézignan there's the semi final of the nines followed by elite 1 v imports/koalas
