The case of the missing pivots?

Not sure tbh many teams get a bounce when a coach leaves. Peet will be wary of this I'm sure.

Let me help you with that! Millward at Wigan. Far worse the Rowley has been for them. I get what you’re saying though and don’t disagree. With the Darby being tomorrow it does feel a strange time to do it!

Gene Miles! His one season at Wigan was incredible.

Clearly I always respected Rads as a player and I think his honest no nonsense approach to his current role is refreshing and I wouldnt want him to change it. I wonder if a few people are offended by his honesty and just want smoke blown up their backside. -

100% agree. I think I said on the other thread the RFL should be saying what due diligence was done, then having an enquiry to show what when wrong and how to stop it again. -

I was watching the All Out Rugby League youtube /show thingy (there's probably a right word for it im too old to know) and Matt Shaw suggested this is bad blood erupting over Wigan abstaining from the decision to move to 14 teams and releasing their reasons for doing so. I don't know if thats true, although he's in a better position to know than me but since it seemed that the financial impact assessments Rads expected werent done it seemed like a reasonable position. Ie we’ll not stop you but we won't blindly back you either. I wonder where the fault lines are between all the clubs on this issue? -
Maguire had such an incredible impact on Wigan that year. I always thought that a coach only got about 5% extra out of the players if they were great and a bit more out of the team if they were tactically astute. After that season I completely changed my mind. I think we only bought one player in that off season (Deacon) but the team was completely transformed. Thanks for that article, it was a great read.

I sent me ex landlord a pre-court notification over WhatsApp after checking it was a good way to do it. He folded like a cheap suit (he was trying to steal my deposit even though he hadn't used a dps after I'd looked in to it ) -

Not if the safety officer involved said no, which the statement clearly shows they did.going against their recommendations would likely invalidate the stadiums insurance. -

Tbh since the game is clearly going to happen and it's either handbags at dawn or bad brinkmanship, id have expected the rfl to at least play along and say something like “we’re urgently seeking clarification from Leigh” -

Sure it's just mind games. -
Full time 82-4 according to WW Facebook page. In sad we couldn’t play a focused and fit Salford. This isn’t good for anyone. edited because I’ve realised that was the reserves and in a wally! in fairness I’ve just come in from close shopping with my 11yo daughter and I’m kind of whacked by how much I’ve just spent. Hope the first team match is closer

Ok I’m way behind on this one… I’ve just started watching the series Hannibal. If you aren’t bothered by -really- disturbing images and sequences, it’s brilliant! i never thought Mikkeson would live up to Hopkins’ portrayal in Silence of the Lambs, and while I wouldn’t say he’s better… I don’t think I’d say he’s worse either. -

Actress Mira Furlan, from Babylon 5 and Lost. I met her albeit briefly at the Babylon 5 convention in Blackpool and she was utterly charming and lovely! -

Ok we’re a bit odd in our house and watch Bake Off. Can’t believe people have complained about the opening. Anyway if you missed it Matt Lucas does a fantastic Boris Johnson. -

Just seen that Sam McBratney has died. Parents in recent years will know him as the author of Guess How Much I Love You! To the moon and back! -

We've started watched Misfits on Netflix (though originally on channel 4). Its exactly what you'd expect with the words "channel 4 decide to do a series about people getting super powers, but they've all got asbo's as well" Iwan Rheon (Ramsay Bolton in GoT) plays a good role and frankly, if they ever reboot Blakes 7 he gets my vote to play Avon. The first few episodes, are a bit full on and I'm glad they calmed down some of the characters a bit otherwise I doubt I'd have stayed with it, but when it hits its stride its a lot of fun. -
