  1. Sorry, but can't think of many English second-rowers who have impressed me more than him during the second-half of this season. Possibly Joel Tomkins, but he still strikes me as a slight liability in terms of discipline.
  2. Sorry, but for mine Farrell would definitely be on the plane. There aren't many forwards around who have the ability to constantly break the defensive line like he can. If he was Australian they'd have no qualms about sticking him in, regardless of his tender years. Good enough, old enough etc...
  3. It might seem like a bizarre statement, but Paul Cooke would be a better choice at stand-off for England than Mr.Sykes. What is McNamara playing at??? Even given his utility (equally as average in all the backline positions he can play) value, he's nowhere near an international quality player. It all smacks to me of lazy, lazy scouting and research from our national coach.
  4. Hall is well worth taking a chance on. Anyone who's seen him play knows he has great attacking prowess. His defensive deficiencies and perhaps physique could be worked on and improved by a good coach - something he's never had at Hull.
  5. I'll get shot down in flames for this, but I never thought Denis Betts lived up to his Wigan form when in a GB shirt. When in the Cherry and White he was a dynamic, line-breaking, try-scoring dynamo, but in a GB jersey I often thought he was ineffective and powder-puff.
