I’m guessing Fury will hit n run all night and stink the place out as he did against Wladimir Klitschko. That may get him the win but if he wins that way it’s a pretty hollow one.

Luke Robinson coaching under 6's
OMEGA replied to The Future is League's topic in The General Rugby League Forum
I can’t see Robinson getting the big chair yet! He hasn’t had a long coaching apprenticeship, maybe just 3 years with some of that being at Senior Academy level. I can see the club insisting that he stays as an assistant to whoever does get the job and maybe next time it’s available he’ll be fully ready. Huddersfield won’t re employ Thorman for the very reason they let him go! -
Joe Lydon and Jonathan Davis at Full Back must be in contention also Graham Steadman! Lee Jackson is just edged out by Daryl Clarke as the fastest Hooker
-
Micheal Jackson at Wakefield was the fastest second Row I’ve seen, very closely followed by Rod Reddy the original ‘Rocket’ Bob Lindner at 13

Not a chance! Offiah had a Full next gear that Addo Carr hasn’t got and of course an Ausie would pick another Ausie, they hate the fact that they don’t own every record in Rugby League.

Jowitt BJB Lyne Tupou Senior/ Johnstone Bailey/ Miller dropped? He’s in terrible form! Hampshire Kopczak Crowther/ K Wood King/ Navarette Pitts Tanginoa Westerman J Wood Green Gwaze/ Arona Aydin/ Kirmond I count 5 changes through unavailability Don't throw in Ashurst because Tanginoa was the best Trinity player on the park Fifita has been stood down by the club, their choice! Im not sure who the 14 missing could be unless you’re stretching the truth beyond breaking point or making some very weak cases for players not selected. Everybody is dealing with the virus in some way or another, everyone’s preparation is being disrupted.

I admire your positivity WCL but we just got beat by a busted Hull FC who had a number of young kids in the team themselves. Not only that but they haven’t been able to buy a win apart from beating Huddersfield’s Academy team last week. Seriously The Giants literally had 15 fit players for that match and 2 players who’d been ruled out through injury bravely put their hands up to play in that game. Well done Hull FC but Trinity need a new coach and support staff!

Ryan Sutton was the standout Englishman this morning IMO. Williams was great with the boot but between them none of the Canberra playmakers could open the Roosters defence which was just too well organised and committed. Whitehead was solid and looked likely a couple of times without actually ever breaking the line. Bateman was good in defence and kept Cordner in check but he never troubled the Roosters line with his trademark footwork and odd style. The Roosters still look a cut above everyone when the big games come, if they continue in this mood and form they’ll win it for a 3rd time.

It’s a skinny 10 from the ref and an enthusiastic Sts are borderline offside at almost every tackle. McIntosh, Jake Wardle, Innes Senior, Jon Luke Kirby are all recent Academy produced players that would have played but are unavailable. Louis Senior, Dom Young, Olly Russell, Sam Hewitt, Matty English & Sam Wood are all recent Academy players that are playing. That’s an absolutely superb output from the Youth System at Huddersfield. Let’s not forget older Giants Academy players like McGilvery, Cudjoe & Lawrence. As Barry Mac said in commentary, Clubs have to back their Youth programme with Time, Money, Facilities and equipment instead of paying lip service to it! The game in this country can’t afford not to develop its own players and too many clubs just employ unqualified yes men to take a development role.

I think Hicks has been a bit harsh on Salford on 5 or 6 occasions! There were a couple of hairline 6 again decisions in the first half that got Castleford rolling and ended with a try. The same type of offences haven’t resulted in 6 again for Salford though. The knock by Ackers was actually Richardson losing the ball as he tried to offload and it ended up with Richardson dropping a goal. That ball strip was legal as Matautias ball carrying arm hadn’t made contact with the ground and the strip occurred during the momentum of the tackle. It once again ended with Castleford scoring 6 points.

Apart from the ones I’ve already listed as other than, which players are NOT seen as First Choice alternatives in the team that played yesterday? Are you saying that the team that played yesterday aren’t capable of better than what they served up? Heres the team that beat Warrington 18 - 8 earlier in the season. 12 either played or were fit and available yesterday while Tupou switched to centre to replace Arundel, Gigot replaced Lyne, Kirmond replaced Pitts and Arona came into the team. All three of those are First Choice alternatives to those not selected. In addition Fifita was available but the CEO chose to stand him down. That’s 3 players added to the 12 who were available or played leaving just the two young wingers who replaced Johnstone & BJB. As I said in an earlier post, the injury excuse does not hold up when you look at it. Wakefield 18 Vs 8 Warrington v Yesterday Jowitt - Jowitt Tupou - Croft Lyne - Gigot Arundel - Tupou Johnsstone - Senior Miller - Miller Hampshire - Hampshire Kopczak - Navarrete (Kopczak was Available) K Wood - K Wood Tanginoa - Arona Pitts - Bachelor Ashurst - Ashurst Westerman - Westerman Subs J Wood - Crowther (J Wood was Available) Tangata - Tanginoa (Tangata was Available) Batchelor - Kirmond Navarrete - Green
