  5. The Amber Ribbon are delighted to announce details of a package for the friendly against Leigh on the 29th January. Adults £17.50 Concessions £15.00 This includes return travel and ticket. The offer is on a first come first served basis and will only run if we can get 100 travelling fans. To book your place you can call at the club or see any Amber Ribbon committee member. To secure your place the full amount is to be paid when booking. There will be 1 coach leaving at 12pm (for those wanting a drink before the game) and 1 leaving at 1pm, both returning at 6pm. This is a fantastic package, but we need 100 Rams fans for it to go ahead. Don't miss out. Let's show the players we are behind them for the coming season.
  6. Sad news, our thoughts are with his family at this sad time. RIP.
  7. A few of us will be meeting at Hanging Heaton Working Man's Club on Sunday 12pm. We will then be arranging taxi's to take us over to Bradford. Hope to see some of you there.
  8. We have 3 places left for Sunday. Anyone wanting a place, please message me for details. Thanks
  9. We would welcome people on board and you are welcome to attend the next meeting. The date will be posted on here. Thanks.
  10. I have been reading with interest some of the posts on this thread. The Amber Ribbon supporters group still meet regularly, as with most things suggested on here it all boils down to manpower and people being willing to commit. There are still a group of volunteers who spend three mornings a week, carrying out maintenance jobs around the stadium. We have tried fundraising events over the last couple of years, again it's up to people committing to attend these. Anyone is welcome to attend the meetings and come on board as part of the committee. The next Amber Ribbon meeting is this evening at Hanging Heaton Working Mens Club at 8pm. It would be good to see some new faces and ' pool ideas '
  11. We are thinking of organising a social event only. Catching the train from Dewsbury to the match at Huddersfield. We will look into the price of tickets if there is enough interest.
  12. We have a ticket for tonights match £16 if anyone still needs one? PM me before 6pm.
  13. Final preparations are taking place for our contribution to the Defibrillator appeal launched by Lizzie Jones. The Amber Ribbon, in partnership with Dewsbury Rams have organised an evening in support of the appeal that will take place on Friday 22nd April at 7.30pm, in the newly named Amber Ribbon bar. The evening promises to be a great night with excellent guest speakers. Rams coach Glenn Morrison and International Rugby League star, RL hall of fame inductee and Rugby league Golden Boot winner Garry Schofield OBE. Both have kindly agreed to an open mic Q&A session, so if there's something you've always wanted to ask, now's your chance. There will be live music and a Rugby League themed supper. You'll get the chance to bid for some fantastic items in an auction, there will be a raffle and a draw for a great mystery prize at the end of the evening. All this for just £5. Tickets are going fast but there are still a few remaining, see any Amber Ribbon committee member to buy one. The Amber Ribbon cannot imagine a more worthy cause than this. We are proud to support it and hope you will too.
  14. Supporters bus update. The bus will be leaving the industrial estate at 9am this Saturday. The deadline to book your place is 12pm this Thursday, please contact the club if you wish to go. We will be ordering tickets directly from London Broncos at a cost of £10 each. See you all Saturday.
