Yeap Knighton was a very clever conman who unfortunately turned his attentions to Carlisle Utd,built a new stand & then “rented” it back to the club.

I’d have thought those teams who play on Friday nights do so because they attract more fans than weekend afternoons do. The Thursday night televised games have historically attracted smaller crowds but clubs this season seem to be trying things to get the fans in.

Perth & Christchurch should be at the top of list for NRL clubs but it wouldn’t surprise me if they went the Ipswich route.

Nice story but it was still a very poor turnout for a team that’s going so well & will be a major concern for the owner who has pumped in so much to build a team that on the pitch finally looks like it belongs in Superleague,obviously the leopard print rebrand isn’t proving popular with the Leigh residents.
