  1. Let's face it, RLWC is the only thing, ever, that the Aussies and NZ could hold the world to ransom on - 2 small countries on the back side of the world that no one talks about - they will be loving this as they think it makes them important
  2. As the Aussie RU team and the All Black's basically chase money and will play anywhere for money why don't we just invite them to play in the WC? - they are over in the UK anyway so why not. As they may get a hammering in some games we could even let them play with 15 men to help level up the paying field.
  3. I'm just pleased you never went to a Toronto home game if this bothers you.
  4. To be classed as a true global sport you need 137 members- but good try and well done anyway. Any positive comments about RL or the WC?
  5. So your cut off point for heratage players is 10% - is that the rules and are they set in stone or can we agree on say 25%??
  6. If its the heratage thing that bothers you? Do you feel the same about the Irish Union or football teams? Most irish football fans talk about the 1994 WC win over Italy as Irelands greatest ever victory but only 4 of the 13 who played that day were born in Ireland- or does that not matter as football is popular or is it only RL that's a shame for using heratage players?
  7. Tell that to the coach of Jocks who travelled to Workington- not the nation but 50 more than what you said. Nice to have true RL fans on here.....
  8. You speak for the nation then..... funny I know plenty of Jocks who follow RL - stood with a few during the last UK World Cup and also met up with them again at the 4 nations draw with NZ year later when a coach load of them travelled to Workington - they seemed pretty happy and proud to support Scotland RL. Don't judge every Scotsman by your standards. Also your star man lachlan coote was born in Australia not Yorkshire. Hope Broughy answers your call. - fingers crossed for you.
  9. As I said ages ago.... strange post for a supposed RL fan...... Are you that desperate for an argument? You spend your time digging up old posts from months ago? - any RL comments about your own team? How's your petition going to get Danny Brough to play for you in the WC??
  10. Just email the RFL and ask for your comments to be sent onto him.
  11. Well he's the England manager so just have a guess who he works for......, Google their details and address the email to him - hey presto you have contacted the England manager with your question.
  12. No idea - just repeating what the manager said as to why he wasn't picked - obviously an internal issue but the Manager is in charge not the fans.
  13. Well, he's the England manager and quite rightly he set his standards and apparently Farnworth dipped below them. Shouldn't these young lads learn they need to follow rules - especially if they want to represent their country?
  14. Yet Roby and Clarke are both far better players than Hodgson who will be a squad player at best.
  15. Put your tin hat on Eddie as the negativity will start flying at you in a minute.
  16. Your obviously not a Republic of Ireland Football fan then if that doesn't excite you......
  17. Yep, arnt the Aussies on about £20k a match and England on about £10k a match? + you would assume some kind of win bonus- players from the likes of Scotland won't be on anywhere near that.
  18. Strange comment from a supposed RL fan....... And yet you lot in Ireland support a soccer team that usually has very few Irish born players. Take your greatest ever soccer result - the win over Italy in the 94 WC. Of the 13 players who played that day only 4 were born in Ireland. That's before we get to the manager that day. Seems you are picking and choosing which version of your national team you support because Soccer is more popular than RL in Eire - as i said strange comment from a supposed RL fan. Especially with the effort that Ireland RL have done over the past few years to encourage more local players into the national team.
