I didn't make it today, but after what sounds like a hard-fought battle we won...not sure about giving up a 30-0 lead, will have to get the rundown from someone who went. Still, not complaining, if we can keep this up we may have a better crack at promotion than last year!!

Level game for the first 20 minutes with both sides cancelling each other out. Crusaders got a break and built up some momentum to run in some good tries. They seemed to relax a bit and Oldham came back at them at the end to show that they’re no mugs. All in all a good day and a great craic with some of the Yeds fans.

Who by? JJB may be interested in helping him, but surely the club aren't that desperate to sign a player knowing exactly who it'll turn out.

It was on Twitter and the link was from Leeds Live

  3. About 25 years ago I had a subcontract kerber working for me whose name I think was Vic Doughty. Apparently he used to play for one of the Lancashire clubs. I was having a natter with him on site and he told me how he had to pack in playing in his early thirties as his body couldn’t take the punishment any more. He missed playing rugby so much that he switched to his local amateur union side where he continued to play until he turned forty.

Booked the afternoon off work on Saturday and will be dragging the Mrs along for her first, (and probably only) rugby game. She's only coming because we've been invited to a birthday party in Llanddulas, about 10 minutes drive from the stadium. Naturally, I'm not giving up the rugby when it's so close. 😉

I understand the 5:30pm kick off time is being driven by Conwy Council, although I have also been told that the time is not set in stone. With no changes yet announced by the club, I am now assuming like many others, that this will be the time for all of our home games. Of course you can't please everyone all of the time, but there are fans who have been season ticket holders since the club formed who now find themselves unable to attend any home games, which is a real shame, from what is otherwise an exceptionally well run club.

It has been badly managed Glyn which is unusual for Crusaders. If I’d have known we were kicking off at 5.30 on a Saturday every home game I would not have bought a season ticket.

Please keep those of us who despair at how supporters of this sport are disenfranchised, if not totally ignored, and keep us informed.

I ignore the experience of saving money by booking accommodation, and transport, months in advance.

While I'm on I shall attempt this prediction malarkey.

All things considered - I predict a home win for North Wales Crusaders.

Keep singing.Keep the atmosphere.Keep increasing attendances. Keep playing well.Good luck.

Thanks for that Paul mate. When I hear about what’s happening with the fixtures I’ll let you know although time is marching on.

That'll do me. Be interesting to see the gate at Zipworld, with the game being played on Saturday with a 5.30 pm ko. There was some talk of reverting to a more usual pattern later in the season, don't know if that's still the case.

5.30 on a Saturday is a bad time for myself and when I queried it I was told that it didn’t apply to every match although I’m still waiting to see the amended fixture list dates.

I could sort of live with the decision of us not playing in the Zip WOrl Staium on 27th Feb IF the RGC team had been stopped too. To me it just smacks of some old-fashioned anti-League WRU blazer-wearing duffer making a decision with absolutely no consequences for them whatsoever.

You're absolutely right about Andy Moulsdale - hes been working non-stop to get this fixture sorted and deserved our immense gratitude.

I fully agree with you Mark on all counts, especially Andy M, but the decision for us not to play should have been taken by the council who own the ground and not one of their tenants. It’s childish beyond belief.
