  1. General opinion even from coach and players themselves suggest so!
  2. They say an ugly win beats an entertaining defeat and boy was that ugly.
  3. Campbell, the only one to challenge the opposition Wardy did everything we expect of Wardy Manning just for getting the winner.
  4. We're playing like a side who have travelled 200 miles and expected to walk out and win. Attitude and aptitude are poor today.
  5. Am I paranoid or does there sem to be a theme lately of clubs announcing incomers just in time for their Bulldogs fixture? Just waiting for Leigh to be getting jittery!!
  6. No Buchanan, that's a plus for Worky...
  7. It'll be a cracker of a game for whichever reason you may choose. Any visit to Cumbria is always a hard day out. As I said before Town will have several points to prove and any team that isn't on it's toes isn't paying attention.
  8. I think we learned that through being out-enthused by Dewsbury for 40 minutes. That we had learned our lesson was quite clear on Sunday just gone. Sorry Town fans, but if we get the same roll on this week ....

    JK

Finnegan to Bradford, Kear to Dewsbury?

    JK

See that JK has left Bradford. As a long-standing Dogs fan I wish him well with Wales and whether it be coaching, retirement or just TV work, he's done his bit for the game. John and family are welcome back at The Mount anytime.
  11. Worky won't lie down on their own patch, they're striving to show that they're not as bad as everyone thinks and I think they'll put up more of a fight early doors. We'll have to start with same energy and effort and wear them down. I think instead of getting points on the board and have it done and dusted by halftime like Widnes we'll have to wait til until the hour mark to start pulling away. Town 14 Dogs 40.
  12. It was a question not a criticism, I know folk have outside lives, just in case it had been an oversight....
  13. BTW and I know it's got absolutely beggar all to do with this thread, but it saves starting a new one; looking at fixtures and results on home page there's nothing entered after 20-20 v Fev... come on BoDs Web man, jump on it! Also no Forum MOM including Barrow. Who got the points?
  14. Don't forget it's a 2pm kick off so 17.05 train should be easily manageable.
  15. Brown, best game for a LONG time and didn't get wound up... Ward, he came to get 'em and he DID get wound up! Can't pick between Gilly and JC for 3rd spot, sorry. Any other from Hooley, Buchanan, White, Leak, Gleds would all have been in the frame any other time, that was an immense performance, even when it was only 6-0 they knew they were in for it.
  16. SpanishKnight, you call that a game of rugby? Besides which your double Pauli was cited twice in the same game and should really have been sent off after an hour which would have meant a) we'd have played 12 men for 20 minutes b) he wouldn't have been on the mud bath to have made the pass for your 2nd try and c) his subsequent appearance at disciplinary and ban only helped the clubs you were due to play instead of the club who were sinned against. One a hard, dry pitch we'd have ripped yer heads off, ask Widnes!!
  17. Can't decided whether I'm happy or deflated to have won 38-10! Intensity and system seemed to drop off, but it was dominant from the off. Whoever are 3rd, be afraid, be very afraid!
  18. I would remind folk that over the years we've not had a great record in recalling players sent out on loan. IF Burton IS to be our new Leaky then he needs to be the one twinning with him here. Wait for it, I hear it coming....can't leave Kaye out....just to mention 21 and 34(ish). Looking to the future and all that.
  19. Get to the ground and go in Gilly's cafe, slap bang next to the ground Roger. There's also a little club behind for a drink.
  20. AND.....after the Escare 1 week loan farce we now find another; Dixon, 2 week loan to Widnes which just happens to include a Batley match, so watch out for an announcement of Hardaker turning out for Workington next week!!
  21. It appears that after 1 starring appearance against the best side in the league, we've let Connor Carr go. Why did we bring him in in the first place? Confused, disappointed for him.
