Going back to the original point; I misunderstood the position in which the penalty will be awarded. It's only if the offence takes place inside the 40 of the side in possession and not inside the 40 of tge defending side. The 18th man's involvement also changes, he can be used if 2 team-mates are rendered out of action from incidents of foul play AND if an opponent has been sent off or sin-binned, if I've read that right!

Ah!! But wasn't it also mentioned about early rounds of the CC being fitted in from the usual February 1st weekend upto the mid-March new start?

I read it elsewhere Roger, Rugby League Live I believe. Their article said nothing about amateurs, only 13 Championship (no Toulouse) and 8 Division 1 teams, making 7 x 3 team round robins.

Yes 14-14 I believe Dale Morton kicked a late penalty to get the draw but could gave dreamt that bit. .

I have an opinion and believe it or not it is a widely held one as I know from conversation with a good number. No, I don't know who we've signed but I know the plethora of names that we haven't and the shroud of secrecy tightens. As I have said twice, we have lost a good number of players and had the ones who we didn't know about at the end of season which then still included Rrilly and Meadows) all came back plus 3 signjngs gave us a squad of 21. Now those 2 have gone that leaves a current maximum on 19! So, to match the starting squad of 28 in 2023 we are 9 players short. Will we have 9 new signings under wraps! You seem to think so....

THE 1 attacking option has gone, season just got harder, sorry n all that....
