It's possible that the on field ref saw in peripheral vision that there was a HKR player coming across to kick the ball dead, but as he was watching the foul tackle primarily, wanted to know if the Leigh attacker or the HKR defender would have got to the ball first. But as with many video ref decisions, I think he should have gone with his gut instinct.

Quite a few clubs have had, or are having a bleak spell. I would suggest that only Leigh and Catalans haven’t. Should be an interesting end to the season.

It would have been nice to have seen Catalan v Leigh last week. And I'm sure the ratings would have better than seeing Leeds every week.
