Tony always struck me as someone in politics for the right reasons.
He only announced his illness recently so this was a surprise.

Thankfully the game has come an awful long way since then.
You would think so but did Malc get the help he still needed? It was obvious after the jail sentence he was troubled.
-
Interesting according to Wilkin, Malc was one of the first to advocate for mental health for players in the England set up and was dismissed out of hand.

Mel and Michael.
Terrible loss. So sad.
Mel was the one I couldn't recall. Think Malc carried this on, his son was Mason

Sad news gave so much as a Salford player. Including playing within 10 days of his appendix op.
He had demons all his life. His family were all as mad as a box of frogs, all names starting with M if I recall, Malc, Marlon, and I can't think what the other was.

What has he done that makes it more or less worse than Hock and Chase
You are comparing Koukash running the club to King and Blease. Whole different situation.
As for Budgie rumours are he was AWOL, don't know for how long or where the wedding was.

Signed a 1 year deal with Rovers.
Must mean all the biggest earners have now been offloaded.

Good News.
What have you missed, rubbish TV, Salford in yet another drama. Leigh fans still giddy.

Andy Murray has a voice boring enough to extricate a group of priests out of Ireland's most extensive lingerie department. But he's actually a very funny and intelligent guy.
Oh that episode was on the other night !

Immediately is probably because his contract is up, Not renewed for the 2024 season.
It is time for a change, look at Channel 4 and the younger players they have had on.

He wants to grow the earnings of his clients - which is not a bad thing, but is not necessarily the same as him coming up with ideas for commercial growth.
That said, the game could absolutely benefit from a much stronger players union and Brierley strikes me as a much more proactive person to lead that than Gareth Carvell.
he doesn't work with RL clients, he has no interest in doing so. He will stick to Woman's football.

So, my little girl is 10 years old now and the final year of primary school.
The school lets kids in the final year walk to school and back on their own if the parents give permission. She said all last year that this year she will walk on her own and she is. I am really conscious not to be too overprotective as that can back fire.
It is a 10 minute walk and across a couple of roads, a very small park and under a tube line. But... those 10 minutes twice a day feel like weeks because I worry about her.
Looking back, it's funny because when I was 10 (or so, with my older brother) I remember in the summer we would stand at the side of the road and a farmer would pick a gang of us up in a trailer and we would pick potatoes all day for a few quid and my parents wouldn't see me for hours. And my girl has an iPhone!
So. For all the parents out there, does it ever get easier?
Its about managing your risk comfort. For example for the few days can you walk part way over the roads? Worries change, having a son and daughter my son worries me more as is less open and probably thinks very differently to me he is more prone to darkness/depression.

There is an announcement that says nothing.

Halifax and Salford have had deductions.

They are doing well in University Challenge.
What are you studying?

This is a minority on the council causing the issues. Hopefully it will be resolved soon.
There was no chance of staying at the Willows.
If the plans for the stadium hadn't been called in by John Prescott Salford would have built and owned the stadium.
