  1. Game stopped that is where the video ref should intervene diabolic refereeing. Leeds played well but for the second night running the referee decided the result.
  2. Why is that not an 8 point try based on last night?? Percival tackled round the head??
  3. They do that in this country with the exception of any incident where a Saints player may be the guilty party and then it is investigated and examined to the nth degree by Pies ports
  4. Think Saints will win by two scores at least and become the first team to win 4 in a row. What a fantastic achievement if they can do it especially with all the adversity faced this year Saints record against Leeds in GF's is shocking but this Leeds team isn't that Leeds team.
  5. Didn't say he deserved a ban I said he was lucky to get away without a ban. My thought process for this was because of how it looked on TV which was in large parts influenced by the total over reaction of the Salford player who wasn't injured but milked it for all it was worth.
  6. I still don't think the incident was as bad as it looked and it certainly wasn't a chicken wing tackle like some have suggested however do think he is very lucky to get away without a ban. However the language used by the first review panel totally contradicted itself so you can't blame Saints for exploiting that. We all want to see the best players available on the biggest stage and there are already a number of top players missing on Saturday. People just need to get over it and enjoy watching what should be a fantastic game.
  7. I actually think the Knowles incident looked actually worse than it was. I'm not arguing that he didn't deserve a ban or the yellow. All defenders grab the non ball playing wrist to prevent the player from regaining his feet and to slow the play of the ball down however he kept hold of it as he cleared the ruck which meant the arm was moved to an unnatural position. I don't think there was any additional pressure applied and I also think the over reaction of the Salford player made it look worse (sadly not the only example of milkining a pen in the game) funnily enough he was absolutely fine to continue. Still it was stupid by Knowles and he can't really have any complaints.
  8. Sky doing there best to get Welsby banned, for me it looked more like a head clash during the tackle rather than anything more sinister.
  9. The referee has to be certain he will score to award a penalty try, couldn't be so sent him to the sin bin and awarded a penalty. Under the current rules he couldn't have done anything else. I'm a Saint's fan and don't agree with it but thems the rules, can't just change them in a semi final. Yet another Saints v Leeds Grand Final.
  10. Saints need 1 win/draw from 3 to finish top, so think motivation will be the same
  11. A week off won't matter if injuries are picked up through playing 2 games in less than 3 days this late in the season. Hence it will be a youth /reserve team fielded on Monday
  12. Still doesn't answer why 2 teams defo in the playoffs are being asked to play 2 games in 3 days a couple of weeks before the start of the playoffs crazy
  13. Why are Saints and Wigan getting less than 3 days to recover b4 Monday's game whilst Leeds and Hudds get 5, no bias there obvs..... Defo will be reserve squads for Monday for both. Head says Wigan, heart says Saints for this one.
  14. No moaning about the unfairness of having golden point extra time this week
  15. https://www.facebook.com/groups/342848972513638/permalink/2687528904712288/ Exactly my thoughts at the time of the red card. Not disputing the ban or the offence but Woolf identifies 3 similar offences in Super League this season none of which resulted in a red card.
  16. Saints missing Makinson, Percival and Dodd, Hopoate injured in first few minutes and now playing with 11
