Barrow up 18-20 with a few mins remaining & we have injuries galore here, Be a massive 2 points if we can hold out here, Just defended 7 consecutive sets Carl Foster just returned limping on for direction I guess, Went off early in the first half

Early sin binning & a few head knocks ( concussion tests ) left us light on able bodies, 18-16 atm Drews just had 7 seven consecutive sets here & we survived that onslaught, Come on lads, Limp home with the points

Drews 0 Barrow 10 atm, Barrow suffering a few injuries & a sun binning so far so restricted inter changes ahead.

You saw Barrow at probably their weakest & they are stronger now with a few loaners here now settling in & you know hot teams are hot 1 week & cold the next = Anyones game.

Think Barrow are safe now Decent DerbyDay win today as they are always tricky & good to get back to winning ways after a few tough tough fixtures when we are light on numbers, Beat Dews next week & we might just be in the playoffs conversion as we will begin to get the likes of Sammut ( only missed today I know ) & then Miludi & Shaw will be closer to returning.

Another loss for Barrow today & was kinda expected today as we’ve got a few injuries & suspensions as most also have but it’s come at a time when we’ve played Hudds, Batley, Bradford, Fev etc & we need this next off to lick our wounds & reset our season. IMHO We are still way ahead of schedule & we might just make the playoffs which is a bonus & our crowds are rising & off field work in the community is great so we are all still happy campers & will continue to grow. Hope J Sammut isn’t too badly injured today?

Sammut for Barrow was stretching for a Try & got hit & has been down for a long time, Teams doing warms up atm to keep warmed up, Won’t be seeing JS again today & hope it’s mainly Precautionary but he’s getting strapped onto a stretcher so not looking great. Recover asap JS

Every SL gets an away tie so the Lower league clubs can gain all the media attention & sell the game to their community & the SL clubs fans enjoy an interesting new ground but less salubrious surroundings & hopefully take several hundred fans with them to help the home clubs coffers win/win

Hudds only brought around 130 /160 tops today, So not many away fans screwing the Att artificially higher. fair play to those that traveled

If half of you RL loving bought WWR raffle or their lottery tix or buy a match day ticket online that you only buy to support them financially then they can grow & begin to compete.

Yes it does but having basically a tent or a bricks & motar building is surely an easy call, They only got it back the other week years after losing it so can’t see any redevelop for a while so the marquee will still be around for the foreseeable & the club is several times larger than the Maquee so potentially a bigger future earner for the club.

I thought that but had to check, Why not spruce it up & maybes offer meals & various promotions & it’s a bad weather option also. Granted it would cost more than the demo costs but it adds value to the ground & if planned out & built right it’s another asset to the club & should increase revenue streams. crowd today guessed at 1700.? Add Barrow to this list, Own the ground & facilities & they recently bought back the Nightclub building that’s attached to the Duke St corner, So soon to have a big bar to add to the other recently added food & Drink bars, marquees etc

Newcastle don’t travel well so the Barrow attendance will be 99% locals &the weather is atrocious today.

Barrow added extra bars, food outlets & a huge marquee so they can maximise match day revenue by letting folk in for before 12 or 1pm (can’t remember which) So these fans eat, drink & be merry in the ground instead of the pubs & restaurants outside the ground & Sheff usually don’t bring many so 99% will be locals. Hope we average at least 2500 this season.
