2-6 at HT. Sounds very intense judging by Radio Cumbria commentary.
Yes & I have family visiting so missing bits of the comms, Xan you tell me why Barrow were pulled back when Miludi was racing clear as I missed it?
Anyones game this & decent attendance by the sounds of it

No stack….Work commitments WTH & Langtree injury leaves Barrow lacking power interchanges, could be the difference today, aHope not

Barrow v Batley is too close to call as who ever keeps their discipline & structure will probably win, Barrows off the cuff flair can go either way in tight games, Play up the BARROW

Back in July when we were home visiting I walked on the pitch & hadn’t ever given it much thought previously but it looked bad compared with the bowling green surface at Holker St.
Now I realise the surfaces will have different requirements for both codes but it just struck me the huge difference in quality.

Been confirmed as Sunday at 3pm, hopefully get a big crowd in for it. The club and players deserve it after the season they’ve had.
Here’s hoping
Furness folk should really back this side
What numbers do you think Batley will bring??

Delighted for Barrow to have a home playoff game after an excellent season. We all know Leigh are going up so it is almost academic but I hope Barrow get a bumper crowd.
York confortably in playoffs again. Will be interested to see how Batley and Keighley get on next year for different reasons.
Minimum 3k but really hopeful of closer to 4K as surely Batley will bring close to 500 won’t they?

Signed up for 2023 so far :-
Brooks, Jake Carter, Creswell, Evans, Forster, Langtree, Ritson (barring any SL transfer), Sammut, Shaw, Stack, Toal brothers, Wood.
Looks decent already, get a few more Top 4 Champs work horses & we should hopefully be right up there

He put on Facebook he was retiring from professional game so I assume he will be going to Millom.
I think he's been very good this year, gives up a lot of size but has put his body infront of everything.
Solid 8/10 every game nothing too flash just a very steady Eddie that all teams really need & lads like this deserve more recognition for what they do

Will we have enough forwards next weekend as we will be needing them, every thing crossed
-
What a fantastic achievement from all connected with the club, The BOD’s forward thinking in raising the awareness & extra revenue which in turn bolstered the squad, Which raised the bar & attendances as the club is thriving etc etc
simply Brilliant

Batley won’t fancy the away game in Barradise as much as we do but it’s anyones game on the day.

Batley have the slope in their favour in the second half, but I am not sure they have enough to overcome a 6-18 deficit.
Barrow on the Batley line as the HT hooter went, That missed opportunity could be decisive….
Miludi over yesssss 6-24

Great result for Widnes.
Six on the bounce at the Bash?
Widens v Barrow could be the best fixture there, Both on winning runs & both want to win, Big game.

Good win for Barrow. Bradford dominated territory but didn't seem to pose a threat.
Barrow get a chance next week to confirm the top 6 v Widnes.
Initially wanted Batley to beat Widnes but in hindsight for us I think Widnes is the better result as we are now 1 point off 3rd. Every game is winnable apart from Leigh away (hope we rest loads) so praying for a home tie in the play offs.
What’s your take on when there was some incident & the game continued and we scored a try only for the Ref to blow & award us the errrrrr Advantage
Surely letting our try stand is the advantage.?????

10 Cumbrians for Barrow today & losing the likes of Stack & Langtree from the team left us too lightweight but credit to Batley who’s game plan worked brilliantly for them today.
what a fantastic season from the BarrowBoys
