  1. A good first hit out at Hunslet considering all the new players we had out. Just four lads who'd played in our previous game against London last October. Just seven who were in our 2023 squad. And of the ten new players we had, eight on club debut (plus Reynolds and Massey returning). Of those eight, two, Wacokecoke and Kamano made their professional RL debuts, so congratulations to them. We now need to beat Batley to be sure of progressing to the quarter-finals of the 1895 Cup. They will be a different proposition altogether on their own ground. It'll be their first official game of 2024. From the Hunslet game, Reynolds went off at half-time as a precaution, and Arnold's injury didn't look too good. No signs as yet as to whether we will see Yei, Bussey or Albert on Sunday. All to play for. Up The Rovers!

  3. If I've counted correctly, that means 7 NCL clubs and 3 clubs from regional leagues join the Championship and League 1 clubs in tomorrow's 3rd and 4th round draws.
  4. It's a 2,300 page PDF. What am I looking for?
  5. You jest again surely? I cannot think of anyone better qualified to run our club than the brains trust that constitutes the TRL Fev Forum. hashtag superleagueherewecome
  6. All I said was Toronto played in SL
  7. The matches were played. Points were scored. Appearances were made. They didn't disappear. They were removed from the league table when the Pack dropped out mid-season post-Covid.
  8. Broncos boss adamant they can overcome IMG body blow. Also .... Broncos adamant they can overcome Broncos boss body blow. And ...... IMG adamant they can overcome Broncos boss body blow.
  9. Yes! My Las Palmas Canaries RLFC Super League bound club one-stop website is now up and running. Buy our polo shirts. We promise we will have players and a ground coming soon in 2025.
  10. Calm. That's not how it works. Their results were removed from the league tables. They played in SL and of course the matches count for players records.
  11. HUNSLET 21 – Jimmy Watson, Jude Ferreira, Alfie Goddard, Harry Williams, Matty Beharrell, Harvey Hallas, Billy Gaylor, Toby Everett, Josh Jordan-Roberts, Aaron Levy, Michael Knowles, Jack Mallinson, Ross Whitmore, Jordan Syme, Lewis Wray, Cameron Berry, Spencer Darley, Iwan Orr, Ethan O’Hanlon, Jack Coventry, Jack Render.
  12. We are going to have to get used to this I think. Without Yei, Bussey and Albert for Sunday, how strong does our 17 look? Without being harsh, there'll be at least six players who wouldn't have made our 25 man squad last season.
  13. I was going to say that I'm fairly sure Farrar is signed, and that makes 24 players. Why Tomlinson was included in the 'new' signing release yesterday when we previously knew he was no longer a trialist, I don't know. A bit of clarity would be grand.
  14. Yes. But they played in Super League.
  15. I thought Toronto played Super League
  16. Based on the 167 Live Games strapline, I assume the playoffs are included, which would make sense too. Watch the whole league season and not show the playoffs would be bizarre. 27 rounds x 6 games = 162 matches + 5 playoffs = 167.
  17. I was at a packed Stoop to see Broncos play both Canberra and then Cronulla (IIRC). Cracking games and amazing atmosphere. Makes you wonder.....
  18. Really looking forward to his 2024. Featherstone have quietly developed a strong reputation for this sort of thing. Nu Brown, Makahesi Makatoa, and (but for injury) Cam King are three players whose careers were going nowhere until a season a Fev sorted them out. On the coaching front too, Ryan Carr and Brian McDerrmott both left Fev for NRL gigs. If who can make the grade at Post Office Road, then you're ready for the NRL. We look forward to future fringe NRL talent to help develop
  19. I'm surprised at you. Surely you've been around long enough to know that standard TRL protocol is to 1. Slate a moderately sized sold out venue as unambitious. Then loudly call for larger venues. Then 2. Slate a larger not sold venue as a disgrace, PR & marketing disaster. Then loudly call for more moderately sized venues. Then Ad nauseum
