  1. There is a hiccup that's beyond the control of the club. I'm all over it at the moment.
  2. I was wondering the same thing. As a statto it's doing my head in not having everyone in their little boxes already.
  3. Season tickets will be on sale very soon. The 11th (next Monday) is the target date. Shirts that are included in the membership packages will come from the club's own stock but that won't be available until the new year.
  4. We've got four in total. Keighley and Workington away, Newcastle and Cornwall at home.
  5. You're probably right. A lot of the squad members not in my 17 are younger and I can imagine there'll be plenty of rotation during the season.
  6. From that list Rawsthorne is the only one from last year. Logan Astley has played for the club on DR and Jordan Turner is an Oldhamer, so he's one of ours by default. Mo Agoro has played for the club previously. 2024 should be fun.
  7. You'd hope so. The plan is to win the league, gain promotion and arrive in the Championship to compete in the top half at least. Most if not all of the players are on a two year contract and there's a lot of strength in depth in the 28 man squad.
  8. Oldham 1. Jack Johnson 2. Nick Rawsthorne 3. Jordan Turner 4. Ben O’Keefe 5. Mo Agoro 6. Danny Craven 7. Logan Astley 8. Owen Farnworth 9. Mattie Wildie 10. Craig Kopczak 11. Adam Lawton 12. Elijah Taylor 13. Joe Wardle Subs: Pat Moran, Josh Johnson, Jordan Paga, a Chapelhow
  9. If they do, honestly, I'll tell ya, I will love it if we beat them, love it.
  10. I reckon the majority of signings have been leaked prior to being officially announced. So when someone goes "Fred Bloggs", it's probably going to be Fred Bloggs.
  11. Banging this drum yet again. For goodness sake we should drop that joke of a badge. I steadfastly refuse to wear anything bearing that garbage.
  12. Roger wrote about it the other day so it must have got the green light. Pathway youngsters to wear Oldham replicas
  13. Looks like this is the away kit.
  14. The pathway programme for under-15s and under-16s took place at Melrose today. The lads turned out in the Roughyeds' 2024 kit. Looking pretty cool. Looks like the sponsor is County End Electrical.
  15. As far as I know, I don't think there's an appetite for that at the moment. At least it's not a priority. I hate the blummin' rubbish (expletives resisted) shield thing. It looks like a Sheriff's badge that fell off a nine-year-old's Aldi birthday card. Before it was introduced I was asked for my thoughts on what a new badge/logo should look like. So I spilled out my thoughts in a document and the last line read something like: "If you take the existing heraldic crest and simply plonk it on a shield with the words Oldham RLFC underneath it, I'll be the first in the line to campaign for it to be changed" True to my word I've beaten the drum to get rid of it ever since.
  16. The Club has changed its name to Oldham RLFC 1876 Ltd Read More
  17. One thing about Astley is that he's never going to let us down.
  18. Thanks. My aim has always been to try and bring the club's media output up to Super League standard. The same goes for Kasey who writes a lot of the articles these days and maintains the social media channels — plus of course Roger. We could do with more resources and time but things are looking up.
  19. Yeah, everything on the website is put there by me. Someone else puts the social media stuff out but we are in daily contact to co-ordinate things.
  20. There are definitely more player signing announcements due out before the end of the week.
  21. A follow up message from Bill Quinn Chairmans update in message to fans CLUB chairman BILL QUINN has issued a second message to fans in view of all that’s happening behind the scenes. Read here
