Very sorry to hear about the death of Malcolm Price. He was not only a great player unfortunately injured in a very bad tackle at Hornets but was also a good friend and mate to my dad. The man was charming and charismatic as well as one of the classiest rugby players you could ever see.

Unfortunately I am unable to attend though I would dearly like to. I Would be very grateful if someone could post the minutes of the meeting on this site or the Roughyeds site. I wish the club and new owners and management nothing but success in the future and am intending to return asap. Come on Oldham.

I will never understand how football gets a crowd of 70,000+ every week to watch that and rugby league is dying (see current World Cup) Where do we go from here??

Nice one Jim. These are the two things that can cheer me up. Why did Frank Rothwell realise that the kind of money he has invested could have done more for the town in publicity and PR than putting it into Latics. That amount could get us into Superleague and regular television national coverage. I await the abuse

Do we not need to have a team to represent us before we start dreaming of playing at Latics? I’ve never enjoyed playing at Latics but it’s preferable to Whitebank but we need a competitive team wherever we play.
