The problem in SL is not the technology, but the lack of it. NRL coverage uses between 20 and 28 HD cameras, most with ultra slo mo. The challenges there are often decided in seconds. I've not been able to find out how many Sky use for SL other than a minimum of 8 which was announced at the start of CC. Our VRs are being asked to see if a hand separates from the ball when all they have to see is 2 blurred frames. Because of this I think it should be abandoned until the broadcaster can supply the tools. (Sky use up to 40 cameras for Premier League).
