  1. Think is saw 3700ish mentioned somewhere but can't remember the exact figure
  2. Yes big Ben had his best game for us and for the first time showed his world Cup form. Having Hughes back is perfect timing with O'Donnells ban, its like having a new signing with how long he's been out and I'm looking forward to him proving some of the doubters wrong as Mulhern and Charnley already have.
  3. We had our best bench possibly all season last night and it really showed. Still can't believe Saints are letting Norman go because he's been great every time he's played for us.
  4. We have a good coach that is currently getting the best out his players.
  5. I honestly just find it hilarious that a week ago you posted about Leigh fans being obsessed with Wigan and you've spent a week since obsessively posting deranged criticism at a rate even the most prolific trolls would be proud of. Properly rattled you are
  6. Looking at the crowds so far, we're averaging 7085 with 4 home games to play. We've got Cats, Hudds, Wakey before what should a decent crowd against Wigan in the final game, if we match the 2017 crowds against those 3 teams(5612,6001 and 4938 which were 3 of our lowest attendances that year), we'll still be averaging more than the 6.5k we got in 2017 with Wigan to come. For me anything above 2017 crowds was fine for year 1 and a good base to build from off the back of a lean few years and post covid. 7k average would be very respectable for a newly promoted team.
  7. Rome wasn't built in a day and the club isn't just going jump straight to 10k fans in a good spell(just ask Huddersfield and Salford), especially charging quite expensive rates to get in. True acid test will be how the club can grow membership levels over the next 2-3 years. Ultimately, the thing that matters most is gate receipts and not attendance numbers anyway as that's what is going to drive the club towards sustainability and I would expect ours will be healthier than they've ever been with season tickets starting at 300 and matchday 27 quid.
  8. I had a feeling Wakey would win this one but not as convincingly as they did, congrats Wakey fans. Good to see there's life in the battle with Cas to avoid the drop yet.
  9. Warrington are in a proper hole currently, if they don't pick things up quickly they could find themselves dropping out the playoffs within a few weeks
  10. I thought it was bad having Mata'utia and Ratchford in the halves but Dufty is even worse, he's not even got particularly good distribution skills by fullback standards.
  11. For his prospects of getting the best of his ability maybe, for his earning potential maybe not. It's just as big a risk staying put in a sport like RL because injuries could hit at any moment. If someone in the NRL wants to throw big money at him I wouldn't blame him in the slightest for going.
  12. With the money Thompson is on the 3 years he's been in NRL he's probably earned as much as he would in 10 years in SL. Financially i'm sure he's more than happy.
  13. Big result for Haven at the bottom of the Championship. Crazy how tight it is for relegation, anyone outside of the top 6 could go down.
  14. Well we'll call it even after the most blatant incorrect play the ball in history won you the game and ultimately relegated us in 2017 middle 8's then
  15. Kind of ironic you talk about obsession considering the sheer number of Leigh related posts you've made in the last couple of weeks alone.
  16. Wouldn't surprise me considering the amount of miraculous recoveries at Salford this year. Generally now if Rowley says someone isn't playing now I assume they will be.
  17. Genuine question, do you think Simon Woolford or Rick Stone should have been given more time? Because Watson has had more games in charge than either of those now.
  18. I'd Imagine Norman will keep one of the places on the bench along with Davis, so it might be one of Ava/Nakubuwai along with one of Hughes/Chamberlain with the other starting. It's nice to actually have some headaches on selection for a change rather than the team picking itself as it has for much of the last month or so.
  19. Can't see anything but a comfortable Wigan win here, will be interesting to see what the response is from the Huddersfield players after last weeks pasting and Watsons fighting talk in the post match.
  20. Hoping we can get back to winning ways but we're on TV, if you picked out our worst 5 performances of the year you'd more than likely end up with a list of our televised games plus Warrington away. It looks like we'll have Hardaker, Ava, Nakubuwai and Jack Hughes all back in so should have a stronger 17 than we've had for a good few weeks now.
  21. If Wakefield want that 2nd win before the Cas game in August this is probably going to be the chance with no Croft, Ackers or Brierley. Can see this being a tight one
  22. Not sure how long Drinkwater and Williams are out for, if they're both missing again I can't see past a Leeds win.
  23. If Hull/Clifford play anything like last week i've got a feeling they might sneak this one
  24. If he's never going to run around though it might cause issues
  25. Of all the dumb things in this post, having Keighley in team 4 and calling team 5 the Cougars did make me chuckle the most.
