This is where own ground really matters All those beer sales at rovers and saints And hospitality sold out I reckon both teams would have made some hefty money today -

I simply love rugby league Its central to my life, a constant through good times and bad. Some players do indeed vanish and we never hear from them again, but many fans are here for life -
Great summary Some good size in the pack but the Cru are a very experienced team

The queensland reds posted 11000 on the same weekend by the way

Really sensible comments But for me there is a strong appeal about north wales. Crusaders could easily attract some decent crowds as Conwy council actually want them to be there. There is also a strong possibility that very decent players like blackwood and briers will stay with the CRU to develop their game further. I doubt this will happen with west wales unless they were in suoer league. Regional rugby union in wales is failing badly, and so regional concepts for me are not ideal. Lets hope both welsh clubs can progress in 2022, -

I think we all have a soft spor spot for barrow but if they can generate £3000 to £5000 profits on drinks and food Widnes sell hollands pies and they akways sell out I often wondee who orders the ours as they are just gone by half time. Media presence is also garbage at widnes -

Clubs have to make a big effort to increase revenue now tgat central funding is reduced. So leigh must have took over 50 grand for that game -

I definately think london have missed a trick and its clear to mecat least that they will struggle even with Siti and Wellingtom Albert in the mix. There are plenty of very high quakity players who woukd love a couple of years in london and complement the bronco production line They need a team on the pitch to watch Widnes v workington next week. I will be dissapointed if we dont hit 3200 -

And of course it would be a big ask to ask a local rugby union player to suddently play rugby league. Im not saying there are not some quality players in unions regional leagues, but they are few and far between and if not on the pathways of the big union clubs, then we would only be picking up the scraps.
