And for the one millionth time, Blackpool weren't interested in hosting it.
I wasn't aware of that
The RFL should ask the fans what they want from the Summer Bash as clearly York is not the answer with it having the lowest attendance of any bash.
I remember I was quite critical of the choosing of York at the time and plenty were saying its a good choice. Clearly the opposite with the attendance.

Very poor attendance. Averaging under 1k per game.
I think the fans have voted to stop the bash.
Could've should've been so much better.
The last 2 venues aren't worthy of fans support
A weekend away in Leeds or York compared to Blackpool?
The RFL are to blame. Plenty of fans were asking for it go back to Blackpool

Why are we a laughing stock. Owners who are willing to swing the axe. You and nobody else knows the real reason why he has left.
New coach new ideas time will tell
Majority of fans on Facebook don't agree with the sacking.
The team manager has also left recently who was at the club for a long time
Your ex-media guy has tweeted the club is a circus hence why he left
Luke Gale leaving
Does feel like something is going on behind the scenes at the Cougars.

Another attack on featherstone. Im sure it's 100% of their fans act like this. Please can mod pin this topic instead of creating another thread week in, week out tia.
They bring it on themselves surely by the club not clamping down on the trouble and banning the fans involved.

Mindless idiots. Probably didn't even go to the game.

Saw Mark Campbell trying to stop their fans attacking our bus, think he must have wanted to sell the eggs they were throwing. Desparate times.
The Bulls bus on Monday had to get an escort from the stewards out of the car park and they followed the bus until we got over the railway crossing. Never happened at any other ground I have visited in all my years following Bulls.
This was due to a group of youths congregating covering faces etc.
This was my first visit to Fev in 4 years I won't be back.
Fev and Campbell need to do more to clamp down on it.
Riley Dean big loss for Featherstone and it showed
All credit to Fax, throws 1895 Cup wide open.

The obsession with away fans is all a bit weird if you ask me. If a championship club is relying on away fans to make up the figures then there is probably a big flaw in the plan. I also saw some figures banded about as to how many fans Bradford took and I'm wondering how Fev monitor that as I would imagine the majority of fans still don't pre book tickets unless its a necessity which it isn't at Fev.
The Majority of the Bulls fans purchased tickets from Odsal as the club got 20% on any pre-booked tickets.

Excellent signing. He has the size and mobility to be a really great signing. Hasn't always delivered the goods but with a good team round him and good coaching I think we'll see the best of him- and at his best he can be a devastating forward.
We thought the same at the Bulls last year but the player we got was the opposite.
Missed half of the season injured.
Hope he does well and proves me wrong.

Is there much crossover between championship rugby league fans and attendees of the Warrington Neighbourhood Weekender?
Well i am off with a group of 10 who would of gone to Summer Bash if on a different weekend.
Live at Leeds/Neighbourhood Weekender at Warrington.
Last day of Premier League
All on same Weekend
Great planning from RFL as usual.

With Tom Doyle gone and Sam Hallas rumoured to be off, maybe Jordan Lilley will be sharing hooker duties with George Flanagan. Myles Lawford is a terrific prospect at halfback and Geoorge Flanagan Junior is also surely good enough to play there. We just need an enforcer to protect them.
Sam Hallas has signed for a club in Aus.
Curtis Davies will be replacing Thomas Doyle at hooker.
GF junior is too young to play every week.

Wonder how that's going to work. He signed a contract extension to the end of 2023 earlier this year and I can't see any club being daft enough to take that on given how pear-shaped his season went, so are Bradford set to pay off what is presumably one of their highest earners?
I imagine he will be approaching clubs himself or come to an agreement with the Bulls as does he really want to sit a year out. Lilley and Holmes will be 1st choice HB partnership.
Declan Patton on his way out at Bradford. Rumours he was a trouble causer hence club looking to move him on. Makes that 4 clubs in 4 years.

Given Bradford openly said they were having to cut back this year, where have they suddenly found the money for the signings of Walker, Thompson and allegedly Prior? Or are Leeds part subsidising these players, as I suspect
Rumours of a silent investor funding these signings.
Rumours of Matt Prior to the Bulls.

Bradford showing Dec Patton as part of the "roster" yet no Elliott Kear who has a year left also.
He only signed until end of 2022.

Looks like the Bulls are having a new 6/7 for 2023 so the Lilley rumour might be true.

Holmes is difficult to assess right now. In 2019 he had a tremendous season at Fev, seemingly helped by playing alongside Martyn Ridyard, and played a big part in Luke Briscoe's record-breaking scoring spree that year.
I didn't think he was anywhere near as consistent on his return in 2021 - he did some good things but didn't seem to get the passing movements going anywhere near as well as he had before, and he lost his place to Morgan Smith early on this season, was soon out of the equation and shipped out to Sheffield.
He's only 26 so there's still time for him to come back and he's a very good player on his day but you do wonder whether Bradford is the place for a half back to resurrect his career.
The Bulls team next year will be very different to this year.

I think the first part of the season he was perhaps not fully committed to the defensive side of the game but I wouldn’t question that now , he took crossley down one on one in the Bradford away game who probably weighs 7/8 stone more . Keyes has a slight build so yeah sometimes he gets rolled but not for the lack of trying.
That's no big deal with how Crossley has played this year. Keyes is much better than Lilley

Got to disagree with you on Patten @Wolford6, he's up there with the most underwhelming players to pull on a Salford shirt in a long time. There's some talent there but he really just doesn't seem to be ar5ed to me. Kear on the other hand, whilst a bit on the small side, will run through a brick wall for you and is one of those model pro's every squad needs.
Agree regarding Patten, I don't think it's a problem for Bulls much longer as think he will be playing elsewhere in 2023.
