Bit disappointed in my now relegated from top 3 whisky. All the 12 14 16 yr old stuff from the old days has just about gone or its now costing a mint for a bottle.... The new stuff just is a pale shadow of its former self. For the first time in 3 decades it may not sit on my sideboard this Christmas....

Im faving a go at that tom kerridge leg o' lamb. Rub made of juniper berries n salt, with lemon zest n thyme sprinkled on. Wrapped up in cling film I've banged it back in t'fridge til tomorrow. Going to wrap it in rosemary and steam it over a base celery white wine garlic n lamb stock..... cookin it slowly taking all rosemary off for the hour.... I love faffin wi snap

Speed humps. There are many on the approach to our office. Lass in front of me virtually bringing her car to a stop at each one. It's a speed hump love.... drive over the cowin thing!!! The paras got over mount tumbledown quicker!!!
