  1. i have done 204 parkruns now over 10 years. Joining the local athletic club last year gave me an incentive. I recently got my PB down to 24:00 and 64% grade. branched out into road race, Burghley 7 done and Silverstone 10k soon.
  2. I've got below 25 mins several times last few months. Beat my 2016 PB. Enjoyed trips to Conkers and University of Northampton. Build up to my 2nd half - Cov - this coming Sunday.
  3. Great CC semis this weekend! University of Northampton parkrun (event 2). Modern (new,?) Campus, river, park, wavy bridge, marna. Excellent. Time ok.
  4. 2:07 for the Ramathon half. The online calculator predicted about that from my parkrun times. My training of 5-15k runs wasn't sufficient. My legs were weak and I was slow after 15k.
  5. 25.04 today fastest since 2017. Pacer 25 was great. Harborough is flat and fast- some tight corners. I have entered Ramathon 4 June. My son was running Leeds half tomorrow from Headingly, but bad knee all week sadly.
  6. Woolacombe looks spectacularly tough. I ran Watermead yesterday. It got briefed as a PB course. No PB, but first time I broke 60% average so a good day for me.
  7. I will Run it when dry! A tough climb i expect that will take me over my 26 min. Average. A flat one nearby at Abbey Park had event 1 saturday.
  8. Stratford Upon Avon ParkRun yesterday. Includes lovely 500m along the riverbank footpath opposite RSC theatre. Flat, narrow course but good for me as the field stretched after lap 1 of 3.
  9. Honestly why talk about car parking charges? It's a decent match.
  10. All well that ends well. I have it cast on telly. Could do with a bit of punditry?
  11. Is this on BBC? https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-league/63143981 not BBC listed on rugby league on TV
