  1. I've always loved to know the attendance I'm in. It's like taking the pulse of an athlete!
  2. The music is terrible. Stops a proper atmosphere from building. Bad quality sound as well as poor tunes!
  3. Positives? As well as the above, I thought Liam's short kicking game had some very dynamic content. Jack teanby and Thomo looked powerful. Already more shape than last year. Joe Brown is faster than ever! Cut out the errors etc.
  4. I think this could work brilliantly. Kirmo is a very intelligent person as well as being hugely competitive. Good luck!
  5. Could be one of Fordy's finest legacies.
  6. I'm in two minds about this. Fordy has done us proud and I'm really grateful to him, but perhaps both he and York need a new a dynamic to go forward? He's been with us for a long time. I'm hopeful about the future, but a touch anxious that we begin to slip.
  7. We did well to get where we did so congrats to Fordy. However, as well know, a lot of this season's rugby was dour and uninviting. Fordy says: 'Forwards win games and back decide by how many' and he seems to feel that our missing link is the Horne role, but sometimes I feel we miss the fluidity of Ben Cockayne more. In other words, perhaps he should rethink his attitude to the backs. Whenever our backs pass and move sweetly then we seem to win. But what do I know?! I enjoy championship rugby a lot and don't crave the super league, but with the changes coming...
  8. I like the game caller. A lot of people do. His filmed podcasts are very funny and thoughtful. He's a colourful entertainer and an excellent commentator in the mould of Eddie Waring. He should be on sky or premier sports. The Steve Crossley thing was just a joke.
  9. I think it's a distinct possibility that York can pull of the 'game of the century' and beat Leigh.
  10. Best of luck to Stocky. He's been excellent. I do feel that this attacking threat might have been developed more here. He's always been a forward with the heart of a back. Looking forward to seeing him play against us!
  11. It's based on the York V Workington game. I know Workington are struggling but there was something in the York passing game that reminded me of a few other times over the years that James Ford's teams have suddenly clicked and started performing. And it's always when the backs become fluid. Without going into too much detail, I feel that James has a tendency to overthink the role of the pack and undercook the backs, but that his best teams are when the backs take the baton. And that happened on Sunday for the first time in ages.
  12. Barrow to beat Batley. And contrary to all, I feel that York will beat Halifax comfortably.
  13. Part of me thinks we could win this. I know Workington are struggling, but the team was passing very well. And how about then beating Leigh?!
  14. I think they need you back before the 'family feeling' slips completely away. The social media stuff you did turned games into occasions. They also need to get a cash gate option. Anything else is false economy
