  1. Still think they'll top the attendance table at the end of the year?
  2. Yeah not bad for a Monday night. I just mean you could see the 4.5k figure in a fixture like that and assume the excess crowd was down to the away following, but in this case there were still around 4k home fans on a rainy night for a match that was on TV.
  3. I would think Bradford and Widnes will bring more than the last few games at post office road (Sheffield, London, Halifax) and everything else being equal they would attract more home fans too. Fev have said they expect this weekends game to be the biggest crowd for five years so they must be on track for close to 5,000.
  4. Averaging 3,442 this year. Highest of 4,562 against Leigh but that was on the TV on a wet Monday night so there wasn't a massive amount of away fans. Widnes, Bradford and York all still to come so I imagine the average will rise before the end of the season.
  5. You’d think at semi pro level they’d be obliged to publish them but if they’re not in the match report or the league express then the wikipedia page the other poster linked to sometimes gets updated. Not sure by who or how accurate it is. These are the numbers I have. The 1,2,3 columns represent 1st, 2nd, 3rd home game etc Average 1 2 3 Cornwall 1473 1473 Swinton Lions 967 853 1081 Doncaster 915 786 1015 943 Keighley Cougars 863 863 Oldham 733 815 651 North Wales Crusaders 690 690 Hunslet 684 654 714 Rochdale Hornets 588 448 415 900 Midlands Hurricanes 352 478 226 West Wales Raiders 251 251 N/A London Skolars 237 287 186 I’d just add to this that the Rochdale game that doesn’t have a figure on this wikipedia page was reported to be a sell out at the 900 capacity limit. The number for the Midlands v Skolars game (176) is from the league express, the Midlands match report stated it was 226.
  6. Me and the missus have already turned this into a drinking game. We’ll be smashed by half time
  7. Good result for West Wales this weekend. Best defensive performance of the season.
  8. From the League Express: Championship Bradford v Halifax - 5,821 (But Bradford’s twitter announced 5,231) Widnes v Leigh - Not Given (But someone on the forum mentioned 3,854) Featherstone v Barrow - 3,284 Sheffield v London - 943 (Double header at Doncaster) Batley v Dewsbury - Not Given York v Newcastle - Not Given Whitehaven v Workington - No Report due to late kick off. League One Swinton v North Wales - 1,081 Hunslet v Keighley - 714 Doncaster v Cornwall - 943 Midlands v Skolars - 176 Rochdale v Oldham - Not Given
  9. This rounds attendances: St Helens v Wigan - 17,980 Leeds v Huddersfield - 11,286 Hull KR v Hull FC - 10,300 Catalans v Toulouse - 8,922 Warrington v Salford - 8,486 Wakefield v Castleford - 5,557 Updated Season Averages St Helens 14392 Leeds Rhinos 12342 Hull FC 11145 Wigan Warriors 10622 Castleford Tigers 9213 Hull Kingston Rovers 8758 Warrington Wolves 8603 Catalans Dragons 7702 Toulouse Olympique 5290 Huddersfield Giants 5247 Wakefield Trinity 5093 Salford Red Devils 4570
  10. Hopefully a lot of them will come back for the next game. I expect the numbers might drop off a little now that the first games out of the way but even if half come back that’ll make them one of the best supported teams in the league.
  11. 1473 announced for Cornwall. Didn’t think it would be quite that high from watching the stream but never the less there were clearly plenty of people there enjoying the game.
  12. 1,015 at Doncaster today. Decent crowd that, shame the team haven’t had a great start to the season.
  13. Just wanted to say i’m impressed with the level of professionalism on Cornwall’s online presence. Their website is as good as any Super League team and probably better than most. I’m often astounded at how bad some Rugby League clubs are online. Even at the top level it can take days for match reports to appear or results to be updated. I’ve just been on the Skolars website and they still have last seasons table up. They might not have the squad yet, but Cornwall are doing all the right things off the field to show that they’re a serious club.
  14. I take it no one knows the Workington or London attendances for this week?
  15. Looks as though Workington are again the only club not to publish their attendance now for the third game in a row unless anyone else knows otherwise.
  16. Yeah Rochdale and London are disappointing. I believe Oldham and Doncaster are a bit above their averages of the last full seasons they played in League One pre covid. I can't see anyone in the league averaging 1000+ this year but it'll be interesting to see how Hurricanes and Conwall do.
  17. 853 - Swinton Lions v West Wales Raiders 815 - Oldham v Keighley Cougars 786 - Doncaster v Midlands Hurricanes 448 - Rochdale Hornets v North Wales Crusaders 287 - London Skolars v Hunslet
  18. Brilliant thanks! Disappointing that Workington look to have stopped giving theirs.
  19. Anyone got the championship attendances from the League Express? Looks like my usual shop has stopped stocking it so i’ll have to start ordering it direct.
  20. 10,042 announced at Wigan. Have to say I thought it was going to be lower than that, with one stand empty the rest have to be more than half full to go over 10k.
  21. These are the average attendances I have for the season so far: St Helens 13196 Leeds Rhinos 12114 Wigan Warriors 11433 Hull FC 11377 Castleford Tigers 10286 Warrington Wolves 8882 Hull Kingston Rovers 7806 Catalans Dragons 7552 Huddersfield Giants 5714 Toulouse Olympique 5197 Wakefield Trinity 5180 Salford Red Devils 3977 Featherstone Rovers 3695 Bradford Bulls 3668 Widnes Vikings 3523 Leigh Centurions 3030 York City Knights 2411 Dewsbury Rams 1863 Barrow Raiders 1836 Halifax Panthers 1740 London Broncos 1499 Batley Bulldogs 1384 Whitehaven 1280 Workington Town 1106 Newcastle Thunder 679 Sheffield Eagles N/A Just one figure missing for Workington v Sheffield.
  22. Yeah I edited my post right after but you caught me first! I think the problem with a lot of these huge clubs is that so many tickets end up with people who dont want them either through corporate tickets or, like you say, bought by those who might not actually attend. I can't imagine it's as much of an issue in Rugby League except for maybe season ticket holders missing the odd rainy Thursday night.
  23. In my experience football outside of the Premier League is even worse than RL for arguing about crowds. Man City, Arsenal etc get a lot of stick for claiming cup matches are a sell out when there's clearly thousands of empty seats though the tickets may have technically been "sold".
  24. Based on this seasons average attendance Newcastle have been at around 8.8% capacity. Off the top of my head i'd say that must be the lowest in the sport.
  25. Anyone got the exact figures for any championship games from the weekend?
