  1. Anyone got the exact figures for any championship games from the weekend?
  2. Did the Catalans v Wakefield attendance ever get announced? It'll be interesting to see if there's any difference in the crowd recovery post covid between the UK and France.
  3. It had cleared up by kick off so might’ve got a few locals to the game last minute, but i’m sure there’ll be plenty like my mates that decided early on yesterday to make other plans with the kids rather than hang around and see if there was a game on or what the conditions would be like.
  4. 2796 at Fev. Given the weather and lack of away following that could be the lowest crowd of the season.
  5. Yep i’ve just seen someone say 12,575 on twitter. Not as bad as I thought it could be.
  6. Anyone know what the Batley crowd was yesterday? It’s the only one i’ve not heard yet. Presumably it will be in the League Express but i’ve not had chance to get a copy today.
  7. I find most monikers cringy at best or downright embarrassing at worst but I can put up with them for marketing reasons, drawing in kids etc. I generally think they’re done tastefully in rugby league but my main gripes are when the badge looks like some kind of clipart used by an 11 year old (Rochdale Hornets, old Keighley Cougars etc but there are far worse examples abroad) or the americanised over use where you have grown men running around shouting “go wolfpack” or “go dolphins”. Castleford Tigers, Warrington Wolves etc do well with their branding but personally I prefer the more traditional names.
  8. 1411 at London, not sure how many of the newer fans will be back by the sounds of the game today.
  9. I don’t think it’s limited to Rugby League, seems that people are turning up to watch live sports post covid especially below elite level. I was at a non league football match at Liversedge the other week with an attendance of over 1,500. A couple of years ago their crowds were under 100. I we’ll see some exceptionally good crowds in the Championship and League One this year. I know Featherstone have sold a lot of season tickets but i’d be interested to know how other clubs have done if anyone has the figures.
  10. Good point, I’d forgotten they’d been limited by the stadium renovations in 2019.
  11. 13,108 at Saints last night. I think Saints will likely have the highest average crowd this year but in 2019 there were only a few hundred difference between the “big six”.
  12. With last nights game being on TV too. I live quite a drive from Fev these days and with the bad weather and work early this morning I almost stayed at home and watched on the TV. Glad I didn't now.
  13. 1. St Helens 2. Catalans 3. Warrington 4. Leeds 5. Hull FC 6. Castleford 7. Wigan 8. Hull KR 9. Huddersfield 10. Wakefield 11. Toulouse 12. Salford
  14. Does anyone know what the official capacity is now and what it's expected to be after this is completed?
  15. There's a decent chance that this will actually get built this time but I really hope the north stand is renovated to a good standard and not just a case of filling the cracks in. Looking at the documents it seems the lower North Stand will remain the same but the upper will get new barriers and new food units.
  16. I only found out this morning that Jaffa Cakes aren't orange flavour. They're apricot.
