  1. Hopefully will be an absolute cracker. Leaning towards Wire as the wife is a fan. Not sure if I can make it to the end as I have this new variant of covid 19. Very very bad. It mimics any physical issues . Bed ridden 2 days now but onwards and upwards eh ?
  2. That's Springsteen July 7th 1985 Roundhay Park... Ah memories, like the corners of my mine.. Well written Johnny.
  3. Agree totally. They are as entertaining as a tap dancing clam. Just a very poor Kareoke band. I've seen better at Hag Fold Working mens club in between the darts prizes and the pie and peas.. Shocking.
  4. Some of the electric advertising boards round the perimeter as well. Couple of rows were shelved because of that.
  5. Not wanting to rub noses in ,but im at a posh hotel at Loch Lomond and have been in the longest dinner ever. What the hell happened. 6-33 ? A brief summary would greatly assist
  6. It would be interesting to get both players views on the incident without watching the VT. Then let them watch the VT and see if they are in lock step. The term I remember from work is minds eye. Your mind allows your brain to see what it perceives you are wanting to see rather than prima facia. Bit deep for a Saturday....
  7. I reserved opinion last night ,but watched the "diving " incident this morning frame by frame on my TV in UHD. I thought last night ODonnell ran into Williams. I can say watching it frame by frame with the camera filming the oncoming players that. Williams looks at ODonnell as they are running . He then not only tees him up but angles his left shoulder into the running ODonnell. Contact is made as a result of this act and Williams hits the turf. Williams is at fault. Doesn't change the outcome. I recall Joe Burgess being interviewed after a game for KR against Warrington. When questioned about a certain try incident which was clearly wrong he made the pinocciho nose and started laughing. The interviewing team all joined in laughing. Is that any worse ?
  8. You never know. Stranger things have happened. I post in hope rather than certainty. Coldest ground ever the Watersheddings. I remember with sincere fondness the history that team and that Ground gave me over the decades. My mate lived on Randolph St in Hollingwood. So passionate and proud. Many brilliant memories. Get em hammered Oldham.
