  1. It worked ok in the NCL when playing with the covid restrictions in place.
  2. Personally, i think under a different coach and if we had retained the players we have lost over the season, we could have made a fight of it, ok maybe not staying up, but going down with a fight and with a bit of pride.
  3. Honestley it dosent happen, that was just a PR thing,
  4. Think Jamie has had a few beers on him when wrote that and just taking the ######,
  5. Seriously, you must be joking, Hensingh am like other amateurs clubs don't have contracts for either players or coach's,
  6. but the community clubs in the NCL would have to vote you in first.
  7. Fully agree, and both CH and the club will have learnt a lot from his stint at Derwent park, its all to the future now and re building.
  8. My point is, if ether Haven or Town had any ambitions in bringing the local youngsters through in to the semi pro game, they should have implemented the same programme that Barrow have implemented, both had the chance.
  9. This is what I'm getting at, neither club have any ambition to do as what barrow has achieved. But happy to help Hull.
  10. My point is, Whitehaven aren't getting a lot out of this agreement with Hull are they, as the top players are still going out the county again, if only anyone with any sense at both clubs had copied the Barrows Jets programme,
  11. A couple of lads have already traveled to Hull, in my eyes that's cherry picking isent it
  12. It's usually just the gate money that is split, goes towards other expenses, but up to the home club to make the best of selling food/drink ect,
  13. Is it not a fact that only are a couple are at Hull also, and the youngsters have droped out of both academy set ups,
  14. Let's not forget Jamie is full time whilst doing the community programme for the club, unless the club have been able to get grants to cover the roll in Allerdale, also what has the Rfl done with the money that was allocated for covering Marnie's job, a post that has never been replaced.
  15. You don't have to go looking to see anything when a player steps him or when he misses a high ball and a easy try is scored, and that's why his lack of defence stands out, and yes plenty of other players haven't been rubbish, but he has lot of easy tries in, but to be truthful not many of CT recruits have been any good, and he has lost a lot of local talent that shod have been the future of the club, but it's time to look to the future and re start the building process, but a lot of thought must be put into this by the bod, I think a lot of changes must happen and quickly.
  16. The club have secured good paid jobs for the over sea players and will be a part of the contracts, all clubs do it, but Whitehaven seem to have good contacts to secure the players these jobs, but both clubs will heavily rely on the diferent draws ran by the supporter groups to help fund new players comming in ect, it's what has been done for years,
  17. That's rubbish, just look at some of his one on ones in defence, struggled to rap up a attacker, can be easily stepped and even when the D line is set he struggles to slide or man mark. just look at some of the games on YouTube and it's easy to see,
  18. Don't think that's correct about directors bailing them out, think only one business man left on the b o d, Mr eilbeck left, the rest are just supporters, but the difference between the clubs will be the crowd attendances
  19. Not sure a hair cut and his build has anything to do with not being able to defend,
  20. Young can't defend and dosent offer anything in attack, understandably why Newcastle let him go.
  21. I don't think the statements give many supporters any confidence, but can only Waite and see.
  22. Not good enough to go back to Newcastle, especially with the amount of young talent coming through the clubs youth structures,
  23. It's a different level and lads done a descent job against a team full of stars,
