He stuck to his principals.
Not quite. He wasn't sacked due to not having the vaccine, that was a personal choice. He was caught doing something criminal, and lied to the club and his team mates. It wouldn't have mattered that a few weeks later the rules changed in France to have allowed him to play, the damage was done. The clubs principles overrode his own.
No SL club were interested, hence the move to Fév who were willing to pick up his salary requirements.

The French team for the game against Serbia could be:
1 Zenon
2 Franco
3 Carre
4 Laguerre
5 Pedrero
6 Rouge
7 Brochon
8 Saloty
9 Tison
10 Salabio
11 Laurent
12 Jullien
13 Maria
14 Vailhen , Le Cam, Herrero, Boyer, Tropis
A round of ten of them have played for the Dragons
No surprise but the TO players have been withdrawn. TO will need Robin Brochon over the next 2 games due to the loss of Jake for the rest of the season

Which try are you referring to?
2nd try. Fév dropped the ball on the line should have been a TO turn over scrum not a try. Flag waver said it was a Fev knock on, referee disagreed.
Not much point harking on about it as the result will stand irrespective of us complaining. Makes no difference to these two teams in the long run.

As a Fev fan of over 50 years, I have never bought in to the "cheating Refs" theory. Sure, refs make mistakes, but many times when I think the refs have got it wrong live, when I've watched the game back invariably I have to concede they got the decision right.
I think part of the problem is that as supporters live at a game, we are so desperate for our teams to win that common sense goes out of the window for 80 minutes.
No problem with a man making mistakes, we're not infallible. I do have a problem with him playing up to the crowd as some sort of pantomime villain. There is no place for that. Stick to trying to be impartial.

I don't think Killer will lose too much sleep over that, especially when he steps out to cheers next Saturday at P.O.R. and lifts the league leaders shield!
Yes, we all know the man's qualities

Yes, and it happens quite a lot.
The crowd were quite amusing. Permanently outraged, perhaps the funniest one was when in the second half Kheirallah then Jones made a 70m break, Marion walked back slowly so that he was right in line of Featherstone's pass from the play-the-ball, the most obvious professional foul but didn't get a yellow card, yet the crowd still started booing!
They were booing Killer. It's the 1st time they've had the chance to let him know what they think of him.
Looks like the referee made several mistakes then

Swinton v Whitehaven is a huge match now. Swinton win then Whitehaven need to beat TO next week which, at the moment and how depleted TO are, looks like a good chance.

Yes I believe they can
Thanks for clarification...don't see much point in the flag wavers then. I thought they were there to help the referee make the correct decisions and not make mistakes.

As a Swinton fan, if Whitehaven beat us Sunday, it wont matter what time we play our last match!
With Barrow losing yesterday, If Swinton do win then Whitehaven will have to beat TO next week, which is the last thing TO need considering how many players they don't have available and really don't want a hard battle last game before the playoffs.

Excellent win for the Rovers. Will give them loads of confidence for the play offs. We had a few who didn't make the squad who will be ready for Widnes on Sunday too. We have nearly a fully fit squad going into the big games and we will be hosting them at ours. Couldn't ask for a better set of circumstances really. Heard Shorrocks picked up a season ending injury yesterday too. Next three home games (if we win the semi and nobody should take anything for granted) really ought to have bumper crowds. Up the Rovers!
Broken jaw. Missing H, Dom and Jake now. I can't even see TO winning a semi final at the moment.

Was the referee better in the second half?
No. A bit of an embarrassment to be honest. He started smiling and winking at the crowd when he gave penalties against Toulouse.
Maybe someone can clarify, but can the referee overrule the linesman and give a try?

Which why? Killer, johno and Chris? or the result?

Exactly, I think both teams have basically put out what they have. There's no resting of players and we could see similar teams if they both make the final, which is why I expect both teams to go at it and try and make a statement.
Killer, Johno and Chris back for the 1st time will be interesting. I wouldn't read too much into the result.

They don't have much choice and there are a couple of injured players in the 19 who won't figure.
Same for TO

A big statement of intent from Fév as they've named a strong squad for Saturday.

Honest question Kiggy, is there the appetite from a sufficient number of viewers for a TV company to make it worthwhile to invest in and make a profit from?
At the moment, probably not. However, the biggies, like Canal+ or BeIN show a variety of sports of which some are not mainstream. So adding another one in the mix is a start. I find it odd that people are willing to sit for 5 hours to watch a cycle race. Or e.g. we have friends who are quite happy to watch a biathlon competition for a couple of hours. If you want to promote a sport you have to start somewhere. Look how successful wheelchair rugby has become!

Plenty of niche sports above RL in France unfortunately

Being made to pay for visiting teams is ridiculous.
One SL club even suggested to myself recently that the Dragons should be kicked out and that France should have its own SL.
I am convinced that the only way forward is for the NRL to step in and start NRL Europe even Phil Gould has suggested this.
P and R could stay with a vibrant chanpionship.
If France go the route of having their own professional league then they need a production company to pick up the TV rights. If they want to promote the game then national TV coverage is the minimum.

Since I first mentioned this Depeche story on another thread a few in-the-know people (well, more in-the-know than me), including a couple of reliable French forum regulars, have suggested that Depeche were not an especially worthwhile source on RL (the writer is a prolific tweeter but hasn't tweeted about RL once this year) so it's probably worth taking it with more than a pinch of salt.
Matt Shaw's article this evening seems to suggest too that there probably isn't really a crisis there
https://www.examinerlive.co.uk/sport/rugby-league/toulouse-olympique-financial-fears-addressed-277026382 pinches of salt.... at least.
There will be announcement soon as to the future president. It's taken an infuriatingly amount of time to get things sorted, but sorted they are.

Imagine the whinging if a part-time team was sent to Toulouse for a Sunday afternoon game and players missed a day's work on the Monday.
I agree with the concern by the way; all teams should be playing their final game in synchrony.
That's partly the reason with TO. Saturday games for the part timers means they only miss the Friday work day, flight schedules also play a part as Monday flights back cost an absolute fortune. TO also have to play 2nd fiddle to Stade Toulousaine who play on the Sundays. Although that is a sore point at the moment having been told they can't play at the ground at all during the world cup.
NB. I'm actually going to the Whitehaven game which means I miss 3 days work. (am i bovvered?..... not in the least!)

Indeed, it was more of a point in jest that Toulouse have to play on Saturday afternoons for some reason.
It is the RL organisation that should be called out on this. There doesn't seem to be any joined up thinking going on. Stupid idea spreading the last games out. I'm sure TO would have adapted to a Sunday kick off as the last away game if they had been given ample time to adjust plans. More time than they were given by Stade Toulousain anyway

Inconvenience Toulouse? Surely not? I mean, they're only full time, they could play at 3am on a Tuesday morning if they needed to.
They would be playing amongst themselves though, as I doubt you would get another team to turn up
