  1. Thanks for putting that up. I would have said there was more than 2412 there for the Leigh game.
  2. Things are looking really positive for next season with the signings and by the sound of it the depth of squad. I thought the season ticket price would have gone up it’s really good value especially with the ladies team too. It’s so nice to hear good things coming out of the club long May it continue.
  3. Did they say when the season tickets are due on sale?
  4. I agree they shouldn’t boo the officials just my impression of who they were booing. Personally I thought the officials did well today all that aside great game and great advert for the women’s game and well pleased for York.
  5. I don’t think they were booing the York players I think they were booing the officials to be fair.
  6. Great game and atmosphere in the stadium today. Yorks defence won them the game good to see another name on the trophy really enjoyed the game.
  7. The problem is what options do they have? If they don’t play at odsal they would probably play outside of Bradford which they probably would not want and as a fan of your club you always defend your ground when people have a go. The stock track seems to be the issue limiting the pitch but they bring income in and I don’t know if Odsal is viable without the stock racing. Its a shame because it’s the true fans who suffer from mismanagement in the past.
  8. I think they are going into schools a guy at work was telling me they went into his grandson’s school and he was telling me he took his grandson the next Sunday. The kids get free tickets but when they are there they want the merchandise he had to buy him a shirt so the club still generate money from the kids( parents).
  9. I agree the best way moving forward is to develop your own younger talent who want to play for the club the only problem is stopping the super league clubs from cherry picking.
  10. A serious question to Bradford fans how do you feel about odsal? Last nights game to be fair if you were not a York or Bradford fan was not the most entertaining and your coach was implying the pitch limits your team’s attack. What options do you have? because as a fan of a club you always want to play in your home city and will have rose tinted glasses about your ground also it will hold many happy memories as Clarence street does with York fans. Do you see it been redeveloped do you want to move to a new ground obviously money will be a deciding factor. Well done yesterday you deserved your win and you have a great chance to get to the final now.
  11. Tough game for York tonight we struggled with the impact off there bench but after 30 minutes Bradford dominated us and forced us to chase the game and make errors. Bradford deserved their victory but we did amazing to get to the playoffs and the future looks bright with Hendo can’t wait for next season.
  12. I thought Bradford won the playoffs to get into the championship the year we won it? I may be wrong but the playoffs where already in place at the start of the season
  13. I like pemberton he wants to play when he was on the bench against Batley he was dying to get on the pitch and play that’s the kind of player you want someone passionate and someone who wants to play.
  14. What an amazing effort to make the playoffs it looked nigh on impossible a few weeks ago but we did it. Huge respect to all the players and staff who never gave in and believed they could do it. I think the turning point for us was the game against Leigh we gave them a almighty fright and proved the can compete against the best and since then our confidence grew. Now we have made the top six does this come with any financial benefits as in other seasons the top 6 received more money? let’s hope he can carry the season on for a few more weeks yet.
  15. What an amazing end to the season so many twists and turns. You have to feel for Keighley fan’s heartbreaking last day. Even though Fev won the league in a canter it’s been exciting to the end and still the play offs to go anything could still happen.
  16. I don’t think so I believe a 8 point try is when you score a try but foul play is committed ie a late hit on the try scorer but the rules change so much I could be wrong.
  17. To be honest I haven’t either apparently it was for kicking the ball out but I didn’t see it on the video. It was a strange one though because York didn’t celebrate and Bradford didn’t complain bizarre really
  18. Well done so consistent again this season hopefully this year is the year for you.
  19. As said we were the better side but made hard work of it but credit to Swinton they never gave in. Swinton did slow the ruck down a lot and stopped us getting into a rhythm and I just feel the season is taking it’s toll on the players who have had to play beaten up for a long time but credit to them they ground the result out. Jordan Tommo had his usual game and Oli Pratt looked good again in the centres and big wraps to Santi who did big minutes today. I didn’t see Fitzy come back on does anyone know if he got injured?
  20. I think the reason they brought this in was due to a incident a few years ago (2004) STHelens put out a very weakened team against Bradford but obviously this info has got out to certain individuals who bet bradford to beat St Helens which they did and it didn’t look good for the sport.
  21. A lot has been said about injuries and the 21 man squad this season personally it does not bother me I will turn up anyway to watch I usually see the team online as I’m walking to the ground. I have to ask this question out of curiosity do some fans only turn up only if certain players are playing or if there favourite players are injured won’t turn up? Anyway back to the game hopefully we can carry on the momentum of the last few weeks and get another win, Swinton are a dangerous side when they throw the ball about and are fighting for there survival but feel we should just have too much for them.
  22. NRL clubs do have injuries like ours and that’s with the best medical and conditioning teams they can get, the difference is they have larger squads and strength in depth unlike ourselves so don’t suffer like we have it’s just part and parcel of rugby league.
  23. By the sounds of it a workman like performance and another 2 points, if we win our last 4 games the pressure will be on the other teams. The main thing is we are safe now but it’s frustrating to think where we could have been with our best team out.
  24. The injuries have been horrific this year but many have happened in the pitch at home and away it’s just bad luck. I was speaking to someone at the club a few weeks ago they were equally frustrated they said they had looked into the training methods to see if this was a cause but all the injuries are mostly different so there was no pattern. Let’s hope we have seen the last of the injuries and stay clear for the rest of the season and next season too.
