I don't think he disagreed at all, he made the point that this years squad has simply not been up to the task and never was for whatever reasons. You're quick to blame coaches. I doubt it's as simple as that and that Jamie's comment is probably well founded.

Remember him smashing Leigh almost single handedly from Hooker to give us a great win. Surely his days done now though?

Agreed. Nature of such a forum I guess. Easy to make comments about Bod or coach without any real insight. Clearly something has gone awry somewhere but though also immensely frustrated I try to leave it to discussing the games and what I can see on the pitch which is what i enjoy. I don't know enough about the rest to be able to make valid comment.

On the basis of what I’ve seen this year the players I would defo like to retain are: Fitzsimmons, Thomson, Barnes. Lightowler, Steele, Scholey Henson, O'Brien Doran, Thomas, Bickerdike and I'd like to try Hutchings at centre Forber a tricky one as has improved his game in latter half of season and got a lot of respect for him but feel we need a fresh scrum half (Walker?). Outside that we need an injection of pace, nous and size - only have to look at how Ferguson smashed us last week. Players I would like to get back...... Have I missed anyone?

Don't regard myself as fickle as supporter of nearly 30 years but I've never felt so hacked off before. Teare going is last straw. I feel I would be stupid to waste any more money. I'll be back when and if there is ever a team worth supporting in West Cumbria.

Didn't hear Thorman criticising the players? Quite the opposite other than Jamie who we all seem to agree is looking weary. I agree we need a shake up in the halves and yes Jamie at 13 wouldn't be a bad idea at all

Agreed. Responsibility clearly his. If he thought this team would be strong enough he was clearly deluded. Can’t blame the players now; must be draining for them but they still put in a shift each week. He got this year badly wrong though still think he will be a very good coach in long run. Next year will tell ,,,,

Though remember we had Fell as FB option as well who was genuine class
