Bulman is a cracking player and not seen any good ball. Shame he's injured. Interesting how well Cresswell is playing with Broadbent in the squad, although Cresswell rarely has a bad game.

He's not seen the ball since he arrived poor lad.

We have have lost quality and pace and unfortunately apart from Wells the replacements haven't worked. I feel for Bulman, Tee's boots were big to fill but he's hardly had a pass apart from running the ball out. The flare of Forster, Maloudi and Ritson is definitely missing.

Charlie might not have the size of Evans and Burke but certainly gives a lot more effort. Not massively impressed with either of them.

He's injured

Sadly not many quality centres about. I think we'll have to go with our lads. Think we are still good for the win.

Derby games are always special and both teams have been struggling but Barrow seem to be turning a corner and working for each other. Looking forward to a great game and a Raiders victory

That's always a possibility with loan deals. Hopefully we'll see him again at Raiders

Cresta has been saying they haven't been able to do ball work because of the weather and the pitch. 4 teams training and playing on 1 pitch plus others activities including marquees. It's no surprise the pitch is churning up. Desperately need some all weather or alternative training facilities for all teams.

Really good all round performance today. It made a big difference to see all the big forwards putting in a big shift and less errors (although still too many). Certainly deserved the win and need to focus on the Whitehaven game now and just get the cup game out of the way without injuries.

Of course injuries happen but the 2019 season you quoted was excessive. As i said this isn't as bad but I have no doubt the coaching staff are well aware of the problems and knowing their commitment to the club will do everything in their power to get things right. Hopefully starting this week in the cup

You seem to be forgetting the horrendous run of injuries they had all season that year. Although not as bad as then, we do have a lot of injuries and inexperience at this level.

That's a totally different arrangement with a different club.

Ritson was in their 21 man squad and so won't be available.

I think we have missed Carl Forster, he brought much more to the squad than just what he did on the pitch. Genuine leader and class player. Still think we will be fine this season but won't hit the dizzy heights of playoffs. Hope i'm wrong!

I honestly think we will be fine, we need to find our best team and then plug gaps when injuries come. I don't think we can play all the young lads every week and so that leaves us a bit short in the backs. To bring them in when the team is going well is totally different to a team struggling for form. Hooker is also key at the moment and hopefully Wood and Mossy will be back soon.

No Langtree! Really think we need him in the side.

Looking forward to this week. Sheffield will be a good test and hopefully we'll improve on some sloppy play last week.

I am really excited for the season proper to get underway. I think we have a strong squad with some quality additions. I am sure we will miss Tee, Carl, Hakim and the retirees but some good solid replacements and really talented youngsters to bolster the squad. Toulouse will be a bit of an unknown quantity but fancy us at home. Barrow by 10 points.

I agree that we need another centre. Ryan is better on the wing. The squad is looking strong though now. Delighted to see Anton has signed, had a fantastic season last time around
