I don't need to check players stats to know that O'Hagan, PP and Ogden have not played more than half the games. Next season will be an important one as we will know the league structure for 2024, we have to do well or we may just go to the wall, like so many teams will, unfortunately.

I really don't understand it, every time we sign one of this year's squad, everyone applauds. If we are to improve the side we need to bring better talent into the side, not the same players who have spent half this season injured.

I wish the lad all the best, he has to do what is best for his career, but how are we supposed to improve the team and bring local lads through if they keep getting poached by the bigger clubs. Not just our problem I know.

Just done a survey sent to me by the RFL and IMG, a few interesting questions. 1) Would I be interested in two leagues of ten teams ? 2) Would I be interested in a sevens or a nines mid season tournament ? 3) Would I be interested in an intercity tournament like Crickets 100 ? Looks like there could be some side ranging changes to come.

At the end of the day it's not up to us, but the Chairman, who our coach is next season and what his budget will be. What worries me is the number of players that Fordy has brought in, that have not cut the mustard for us. Either he is not a good judge of players, or he fails to get the best out of them. I don't expect us to go to Leigh and win, but Bradford and Barrow at home should have been doable.

The club has announced that Danny Sheehan, former player and coach died yesterday, condolences to his family at this sad time. I think we now know why the game started late, and it puts the game into some sort of perspective.
