Fri 18th Aug: SL: St Helens v Hull KR KO 20:00

The conditions got worse as the match went on, it was like a monsoon. The HKR fans deserve their MoM for backing their side, then having to travel all the way back along the M62 (if it was open). HKR filled 4 supporters coaches which was a great effort, if you think of the cost of they had to pay for the CCF the week before. -

You was right Sam about Saints. I am going to have to stop wasting money on bets. £10 on a Rovers win with a 14start. That bet can go with my Ritson SL top try scorer, Wire win the League & Cup, Matt Dufty MoS. I will get my 6yr old granddaughter to pick them from now on. -

I’m not confident Sam, we have our two strike props in Walmsley & Paasi missing which means making any big yards is a problem. Davies in the centres doesn’t fill me with much hope either. -
Are you taking the piste.

Id love a Saints win but i can’t see it. More importantly Coote will be at the ground for the very last time(perhaps). When Saints signed him most of the fans said “who” i didn’t have a clue who he was, but what a fantastic player and a really nice lad. It’d be great if he could walk around the pitch before KO and then he would know how much the Saints supporters loved him. One of my daughters really liked him but it was nothing to do with RL. I wish him & his family nothing but luck . -
Saints fans love a forrrrwarrrrrd.

It would be great if all the Huddersfield fans took a cowbell to an away game, it’d be like Ski Sunday.

Definitely they made a lot more noise backing their side than the Saints lot. But no club will beat the Saints fans from turning on their players in a switch. Which i don’t mind whatsoever unless it’s vile & abusive language. Did i mention Ben Davies what a *##***# ##*$#% #%## player.

12,028 at Saints on Sunday which was up by around 750 on the match last season. Huddersfield may not have the biggest of away followings but they was very vocal, and i could clearly hear the cow bell and their fans singing. Whilst the Saints supporters were moaning because i was one of them .

I like knowing about attendances, the people i go with always have a guess at a Saints home match what the official crowd will be. The ones who don’t go will always ask “how many was on”.

Looking at the match from a Saints point of view i think the best side lost. We started off really well but when Greenwood was sent off the game started to change. The Saints discipline was as always shocking. As for the squad the likes of Ben Davies shouldn’t be anywhere near the first team, i wouldn’t even let him carry the kit bag. Sam Royle i can’t fault his effort but he just isn’t big enough to cause any problems for the opposition. I think Saints are in desperate need for another centre and two props for next season. As for Huddersfield i thought they played really well when they went down to 12 men. Seeing Kevvie Naiqama again was great and what a fantastic try, we could do with someone like him in the centres. I was very impressed Sam Halsall.

Promoting the CCF would help instead of relying on the same followers of the game to dig deeper into their pockets.

I won’t be going BB, i couldn’t have gone even if the men had been there as well. I did see the ladies win the cup at Elland Road last season, that ground needs a good cleaning & upgrade. The St Helens women are the only hope for the club to pick up a domestic trophy in 2023, the men won’t win anything.

We don’t even know if the CC Winners get a cash prize nowadays because everything is so top secret. DONT LET THE PAYING PUBLIC FIND OUT, THEY’LL LAUGH AT US.
