And there is a picture above your post that shows it did.
That's why the ref sent it upstairs as a try, he came from behind the try line to get a view and saw the ball on the line and so sent it up as a try.
The ball got there but it was either a triple movement or quadruple movement so should never have been given.
That picture is far from conclusive.
Anyway it is what it is.
Sometimes teams get the rub of the green, sometimes they get more than a rub.

So many people on social media saying the Martin strip was legal. In the NRL it is, in international rules it is not.
In international rules once there is 2 players in a tackle the ball can’t be stripped even if a player drops off.
Quite funny to see how angry some NRL Fans boys are, they can’t fathom the SL is a quality competition so they blame it on every thing else other than the actual game.
The Wardle try was controversial but he definitely got to the line, whether it was a double movement or not is the question. When you slow it down to individual frames it looks like he promotes the ball but from the refs POV all of that happened in a millisecond so you can’t really argue his decision.
There are several angles that clearly show he got nowhere near the line.

At full speed it looked like Wardle was dragged to the line by the defenders
There was an angle shown that looked like the ball never got close to the line at all.

NRL powerbrokers are reportedly considering a bold move to buy the English Super League in what is shaping to be a historic investment.
That is according to The Daily Telegraph who are reporting the NRL have begun investigating the ‘financial viability’ of taking over the rival competition.
Should the NRL be successful in its takeover, players could potentially move between competitions and countries within a single season”

It is being reported in the Australian media that there is a consideration for the NRL to purchase Super League.

I remember my Dad considered Siro to be a bit of a pretend tough man. As far as I am concerned he was a tough #### who ran the ball as hard as it could be run.
People say that because he had a slight lisp and they thought he was soft.
i don’t agree.

Like the Welsby debate, all conjecture on your part
Not conjecture, just my opinion.
I thought it was just between me and Dunbar.
Always good to have your input though Harry.

Early 50 something but I like the young at heart part.
Early fifties, youthful, a passion for stats and an anorak in the wardrobe, what’s not to like Dunbar

Thanks for that excellent spot. He was a breath taking player before his move to NZ.
He or his Agent made a mistake choosing NZ for his best option in the NRL.
I suspect it came down to NZ willing to pay a transfer fee that most Australian Clubs are not used to and would not pay.

“A Youngster” because of a differing opinion.
You’re very entitled to disagree with me but disagree with me properly instead of just laughing at all of my posts.
No, I asked are you a younger fan as many of your posts appear to be how a young fan often thinks.
Anyway I am not much for lists of top five, top ten, or top 20 players in the world or terms than commentators use like “World Class”
Too many things change from year to year, players lose form or get long term injuries that often has an affect on their performance.
Super League and the NRL are not comparable in many ways either other than they play a similar version of the same Sport.

I think Moylan has fallen quite a bit down in the last year to 18 months. Not the player he used to be, but perhaps SL will suit him.
In his prime he was pretty special.
Hopefully a move will work well for him.
I hope he does not get injured to the point he hardly gets any game time.

You are right DACS.
The Aussies have just sacked the Union Chairman.Phil Waugh has come out and stated they will no longer be looking at signing NRL stars because they cannot afford it and they should be trying to retain their juniors.

The Leb’s I know are very bloody proud of their heritage. I wouldn’t be questioning their allegiance, if that’s what you were doing.
Develop France. The main priority.
I am not questioning their loyalty at all but they are a heritage team like so many others.
I dont think having a bunch of teams made up of Aussies playing for the country where their grandparents come from help the game at all.
its a Circus IMO.

Lebanon is just a bunch of Aussies with Lebanese heritage.

They own the ground though.
12,000 capacity isn’t too bad for a small suburban Club.
