Very sad day for Rugby League after 28 years of struggling the Skolars are going into the amateur ranks, hopefully this is a temporary set back but I fear the worst.

Rugby League for far too long has been parochial in it’s outlook, the so called big teams are only interested in themselves, a lot of supporters are so narrow minded that they cannot see the game outside the M62 corridor. I am sick of hearing all the negatives surrounding teams outside the heartlands people whining about how far they have to travel when they play teams south of Sheffield. Come into the real world or this great game of ours will die, more through apathy than anything else. When I lived down under it was a 1000 km trip each way to a lot of away games, that is just the way it is, here the supporters moan if they have to go a tenth of that. Teams like the Skolars were doing it every other week not once a season, we should be encouraging them and embracing them into our family not revelling in the fact yet another expansion club is being lost from the pro game. The RFL as a whole needs to take a long hard look at itself. I know IMG are coming in but I suspect they are only going to be interested in the top tier, I hope I am wrong.

Unfortunately I don't think you are wrong

Come back Peter Martini, Mike Hope or Jackie Wood! They were the days! They even new their rugby!

Who remembered Martin Lacey in the 80s. He was a big guy and often played in the reserves aswell

Okay guys, you carry on getting outraged over things that have zero affect on your lives whatsoever.

    I'll be outside touching grass.

It sounds more like you are touching cloth

    😂 Where's the lie please?

17 of the 21 man squad named, plays. York would lose a substitution for the game otherwise.

    Stop being so melodramatic.

Get over yourself you clown. People have a right to an opinion,  but you just seem to think what you say is right. This is an open forum site where we can give our opinions believe it or not .Get over yourself

Yeah I heard at Sheffield away game in June  that Marsh was leaving aswell.Brown is doing a very good job at full back at the moment However personally I would prefer hendo to bring his own player in also think he sees Harrison as more as a centre/winger than he does full back

I think it would be a bad decision to let Marshy go personally unless it is his personal decision. He has alot to give us in the team

Missed conversations cost us the game

It's easy to blame the goal kicker. Overall I think St Helens had the edge and experience told at the end of the day. Hopefully the ladies will learn from the game and move on. Let's win the championship now.

I spoke to Matty Marsh yesterday. He is having surgery today, then will have a cast on for about 8 weeks. We'll be lucky to see him in a Knights shirt again this season. Let's hope he hasn't played his last game for the Knights.

I think he signed a 2 year contract

Huddersfield women v York Valkyrie kicks off at 11am on Sunday. It's a weird time and not particularly convenient but it means I can watch the match and still have plenty of time to get to Keighley for 3pm. I'd urge other Knights fans to do the same.

Huddersfield needed three Valkyrie loanees to fulfil their last match. I wonder if they'll be allowed to play against us!

How much are tickets for the Valkyrie tickets

  10. Welcome back Liam Harris. It was good to see him back. Time to think about getting rid of Hingaro for next season and P P. Hinfaro arrived injured and P P has never got going. It's great to see the young lads in AJ and Myles Harrison taking there chances in the team well. Players like these are the future of York

I'd rather she asked Clint what was happening to the club.

More and more supporters are asking this now. If he hasn't picked up on thus now I don't think he ever will

If that's all he achieves I wouldn't complain.

There is more to rugby  in york  than just super league. You must remember them days Simon. As a long time supporter of York probably like yourself you have seen many up and downs at this club , and admittedly the rugby league can't even wipe their own backsides , but I just think it's not the same now at the club from top to bottom. It's just my opinion but things just aren't sitting right for me right now with the club

  14. Pick ourselves up now for the must win Whitehaven game now. Another inept referee display today, but we need to control the way we play our game .We make it hard for ourselves at times

  15. Although St John's  college  might have good facilities. The injuries over the last few seasons have been massively disremmentfull to the team and maybe its Time to pull away from some of their training facilities. The training surface seems to be causing the bulk of there injures .Something needs to change for next season as we can't  carry on like this. The more this carries on the less we can move on as a club
