With the injury problems we are having compared to season 21 and 22 i think this time it's a lot worse as we have lost so many players in key positions, but on the flip side we went into the season short of probably 2 big forwards and a centre which we did manage to address bringing in Levi ,don't really know what's going on behind the scenes ie,training and squad moral between the players.the performances this season have pretty awful apart from the Bradford and Sheffield(cup)games and so many supporters were moaning about the lack of entertainment under fordy ,but it has certainly not got that much better under Henderson this season don't know what actually went on at the end of season between Clint and Fordy ,but did hear from a couple of people that ford wanted to sign a certain player but was was told by Clint he couldn't sign him as Clint had already signed a player for that position for this season whether that had any reasoning why Ford decided to leave the club you would have to ask Ford or Clint if this was the case .It would be great if radio York could actually get Clint on the Radio to ask him why we have spent half our budget on players who are sat in the stands at the moment and unless we don't get 3 or 4 players in very quickly i think we aren't good enough to stay in this division and financially could leave the knights in a right mess if we ended going down to league one with players on big contracts, just feels like we have gone backwards as club this season.

At the end of the day Clint is a joke and if we don't get a super league slot he will be off like a bullet from a gun. I have said it before he is another John  Baychelor from the york city days. Some won't agree with me but I am fed up up with those who think otherwise

We did get the Levi in,but we are still struggling with our forwards who can't seem to get on top of the opposition forwards which lets our backs not been able to play any decent attacking rugby in the final third ,but again it probably comes down to finances to bring any quality players in to fill the gaps while we have players out injured.

This all goes back to us giving long term contracts to crocked players even though O'Hagan did ho back to Australia. Hopefully we will learn from it

  3. In the press tonight that Clint is in talks about investment into York City. For goodness sake he has hardly set York Knights alight since he arrived. He has very little regard for the fans and he seems to think sponsors will pay for the club moving forward. I am beginning to think he is another John Batchelor type of character who had City years ago. I am sure that many will disagree but he needs to prove he can take the rugby club forward first before he gets involved in the football club otherwise I think he will leave two clubs in trouble

  4. It seems a bit odd that one of the up and coming coaches in the game has gone in this direction. It  still makes me wonder if his exit from the knights had more behind it and he wasn't getting the control he wanted from the chairman.

Great thinking loaning a player out to a rival club in the same division. He could positively impact results in Swinton’s favour that could negatively impact Yorks’ final league position. Loan him to a Championship 1 club if the point is to get him fit. I also see the ‘returning players’ BS is alive and well. Plus no Cunningham. That was a great cameo comeback. What’s happened to him? Does that mean we might get a fleeting glimpse of Hingano? Sick of being lied to by the club. Give us some ###### truth for once.

I have to agree. Its becoming irritating to put it politely how the club now treat the fans.Personally I think the owner us up his own

Putting the 1895 Cup on its Sundeck for a while, who would you like us to draw in the Challenge Cup? It would be good to get another home draw to start with. I know it wont be everybody's choice, but my preference would be a winnable home tie against one of the Championship clubs, (London preferably), and then a home quarterfinal against a well supported SL team. Failing that a home draw against Wakey wouldn't be bad. We'd get a good crowd, and they are certainly beatable.

The further we go, the more cash comes in prize money, and the bonus of extra IMG points.

Having said that we'll probably get Salford  or Huddersfield away.

Would love hull kr at home

  7. One of the main problems is that we signed players up on long term contracts that are just glass .It baffles me why we haven't learnt anything from previous seasons. Sorry but I think halifax will do us over tomorrow. Halifax 42 Knights 10

From little things you hear its sounds as if the club, Clint ,whichever, is very reluctant to spend much more money on the team this year as they are gearing up for a big push next season.

Hope this doesn't backfire and we are gearing up for a push to get back into the championship.

We are paying to see this year though.I don't think Clint respects the fans enough to appreciate that. His plans for making York a super league team are not guaranteed and if we carry on as we are there will be less paying fans who want to come as we are

Might be just what is needed especially if Hendo takes a liking to him, can’t beat a bit of competition for places to keep everyone keen.

I don't think it's about competition for places.More like putting players in their correct positions.

Think you mean Jason Bass, Chris Brass was the York City player manager in the early 2000s.

Fair play to him if he’s now doing a job in the back line for Sheffield Eagles though.

Oops I don't know why I got his name wrong but you know who I meant

  11. I think the pressure is on us. Sheffield are playing well , and our ex players are having a good season. Chris Brass is a player I wish we still had especially now that we need cover all over our back positions. I think he will be the one who makes all the difference between the teams and possibly be the game winner, but I hope I am wrong

  12. Sorry but I just have to say it.We are a mediocre team this year. The chairman and Fordy left Henderson with his hands tied. It's not acceptable to knowingly have players on extended contracts that are injury prone and don't consistently play or haven't played yet.I feel sorry for the young lads that shouldn't be playing these sort of games. They are on a hiding to nothing and I only hope it doesn't affect there confidence.
