  1. Chris Satae out for Hull is a blow to them. He's one of their big guns. Jack Brown likely to come in for him. Skipper, Carlos Tuimevave is back into the squad and likely to come in inplace of Cameron Scott and young Davey Litten is also back and included in the squad although I'm not sure if he'll get in as I can't see Hull wanting to be making too many changes from the Magic Weekend victory. Two in form teams, I think it will be a tight game. I would have been confident in a Hull win before the loss of Satae, but the rest of the Hull middles will have to step up in his absence.
  2. Yorkshire would batter them. They've always produced the best players. Like Hanley, Schofield, Robinson and Burgess. Yorkshire is just a superior place and Lancashire don't even want to take us on. They're afraid.
  3. In normal time they actually drew. They lost the penalty shoot-out. If it were a 3 games series we'd have a win and a draw going into the last game.
  4. 1 The BBC reporter said so 2. I didn't say it does. It's just my opinion that I thought we got the rub of the green. I certainly won't be questioning you if your opinion is different to mine on something like this.
  5. You'd have given me the same speech in the 1970s if I said that Darts on indoor league will overtake the Wrestling on World of sport, which was packing out every city and town hall in the country whilst darts was played in a pub, but here we are. I guess people just find the darts more entertaining.
  6. Is athletics better for club athletics or International athletics? Are the nation into the club stuff or the international representative aspect of that sport? The same with Rugby Onion and Cricket or pretty much any sport. Only football can thrive in this country purely at a club level. If you want to reach out then you have to do it on the representative level and it needs to become a tradition. We can overtake Rugby onion because our game is far more entertaining, we just need to give it the exposure it deserves.
  7. Because kids in Scotland, Wales and Ireland would see a future in representing their country in an annual international tournament and in years down the line there would be generations of players coming through with a goal to aim for. Surely that would be an improvement on what we have now? Which is nothing.
  8. We don't need the Southern hemisphere teams. Let's build up the home nations + France. They wouldn't want in anyway. Granted, England will dominate at first but the other home nations will only improve with a platform for them to improve.
  9. If he could pick a class player like Williams when his club form wasn't at its best then I don't see why he couldn't pick a class player like Clark too? I've always been a fan of Mcllorum and would have had him in in years gone by but I thought his best days were behind him and was surprised by his choice.
  10. Where was big Thomas Burgess today? Last week he was outstanding. This week he wasn't on the field enough. He seemed to be off the pitch for the majority of the game. There was a couple of drives where he put the Samoan players on their backsides but he wasn't on the pitch long enough for my liking. You can see why Wane isn't in favour of Thompson because he did next to nothing again. We did miss big Alex in this World Cup. Him and big Thomas interchanging would have been a bonus to us.
  11. He had a mare today but Watkins has been our countries best centre for the past decade. I don't think there was anyone out there available to choose from who is better than him in the centre.
  12. I think it was more to do with Hull FC as a run club than anything to do with Radford. He had a good run there but a rot set in. It was his first professional coaching job and he served his time with success. As a young amateur coach he took East Hull from playing in the Yorkshire league to National league and national Cup winners. He then took Hull FC to back to back challenge cup winners and minutes away from two grand finals. I'm confident in him that he's one of the best.
  13. It didn't work out for him today but I think he's done OK. He's chosen players in their correct positions and we've played some attractive stuff under him in this World Cup. I don't have too much problem with him.
