This is meant as no disparect to toulouse. Who played well, and did there game plan well and scored some great tries , and deserved the win. But Rovers were terrible. To much one man rugby in attack,with very little go forward but quiet alot side to side. And the defence has been worrying for a while, especially the amount of missed tackles. We looked knackered, especially when you think since Peters took over, in 4 years,we have only had 4 games off (23 gf, 24 challenge Cup final and 1st rd po, 25 first rd of play offs), and quite alot of the players have played most of them. Gorman was the one aspect that was bright. He's been unfortunate in that Morgue, Broadbent and Murphey are ahead of him. But he looked good when he came on,and this will be the start of his progress into more game time. We have alot of contract at the end of next year. And that will be when we have a turn over I think, hopefully Cayless will promote some of the youngsters. Trouble is last year, and trying to stay a top side. Can we really promote the youngsters.

Quite a few Hull Fans weren't that bothered, as they believed Kemp was a better player. Yesterday was hard to tell if he was good or bad, as to be fair to him he wasn't with a recognised half back. He didn't have a great game, but being behind a beaten pack, in a dispirateted team can't have helped. Yesterday would have been a good game for Lewis to be his partner, someone to take the line on, and let him play naturally. One thing he didn't look, was a leader to take the line on.
